Iām in if you/we/the mods can make it happen. Iād be really interested to see pics of other ownerās trucks. Aside from mine, Iāve never even seen another Roush Ranger on the road or even at a dealership. I havenāt done a search yet (Iāll do one now) but Iām guessing thereās a dedicated thread...
Yikes. Glad to hear everyone is ok and the truck wasnāt totaled.
This may be a silly question, but with a national shortage of hoods would the other driverās insurance pop for an aftermarket replacementā¦if you pursue it aggressively? Just thinking itād be ridiculous of them to make you wait...
Geez, now youāve got me worried. Do they sell locking valve stem caps? Maybe they make a āuniversal fitā after-market locking kit?
Iāll ask my salesman at the dealership. A well-informed question like that will probably impress the heck outta the receptionist. Iām gonna look so much like a...
Crap. After seeing just how awesome this thing is Iām gonna have to return to my dealer. I figure Iāll go in asking for $2K back as compensationā¦.but if you guys think Iād be leaving money on the table let me know. I donāt wanna embarrass myself at the dealership. Thereās an extremely attractive...
I know, right? I mean, once anyone sees those valve caps itās like all they can focus on. The rest of the truck essentially becomes invisible.
And the cup holders? Man, Iām glad you said something Duke. I really feel they tie all the interior and exterior design elements together without...
Nope, no utility kit for me. Gotta say, Iām a wee-bit disappointedā¦.even though I have absolutely no idea what it is.
But getting back to the topic at hand, you donāt have a ārealā Roush truck until youāve christened it with your own blood, sweat and tears.
Sure, they do the easy fluff work at...
Hey Mack, I sent you a pm but thought Iād post here as well in case it can help anyone else out in the future.
I found one of the Roush stickers on my driver side door jamb verifying it was modified by Roush in June, 2021. Didnāt see anything on the passenger side and didnāt really look under...
Will do. I wrapped up just before dinner and only had time for a quick spin around the block tonight to make sure nothing exploded and no warning sirens were going off. Iāll report back after I log some real driving time.
This. Iāve had to do it 2-3 times over the years (Iāll just note it was always my wifeās or a parentās car) and as I recall it was always a pretty quick and simple repair.
It probably wouldnāt hurt to ask the dealer who they use. Just get a name though, unless you can get it done under warranty...
Along with a break in the rain, the weather finally cooled down enough to make working in the garage bearableā¦.so I was able to install my CAI this afternoon. With the help of YouTube, it was a pretty straightforward and easy installationā¦even for a beginner like me.
Itāll be a while before...
I think I bought it online from Lasco Fordās parts dept.
It looks like they may still have a few matte black/textured ones left in stock. They sell it as a Ford OEM product, so any of the larger dealerships and forum sponsors may also have them in stock. Itās still made by AVS...
Correctā¦.as I understand it, the Roush tune file for ā21 isnāt complete yet. Iām referring specifically to the Roush tune.
By āretailersā I meant suppliers/shops that currently show the Roush tune as a fit for the 2021. Most places list it as a fit for āā19-ā21ā.
Regarding the tune, I have...
Thanks!! The Ford dealer can install the Roush tune, and of course thatās whatās recommended; but Iām planning to have my local shop do it. I think they have a lot more experience with tunes overall and they have the required hardware, so thatās likely the route Iāll go.
Iāve got a ā21 Roush and ordered the CAI and Roush tune. The CAI is due to arrive today, so hoping to install it this evening. Having spoken with Roush, the Roush tune retailers are marketing for the ā19-ā21 Rangers isnāt actually complete yet for the 2021s. They expect the file to be finished...
Unfortunately, I canāt offer the OP any useful advice (Iām assuming heās narrowed down the source/area)ā¦.just thought Iād mention I had the same issue with a pair of cheaters I had forgotten were even in the truck. Took me weeks to figure it out, but in my own defense I wasnāt actively looking...
The sad thing is that Iāll probably end up buying a rear one w/ camera housing. The tailgate emblem is the only pop of blue or chrome that came on my entire truckā¦and I want it gone. Whatās pathetic is that this feels like something I should be able to do myself. Lol, been on the fence with this...
Yeah, I had some cringe-worthy rubbing after the work had been done (I had a local shop do the work as Iām too old and too clumsy to attempt any of this). It turned out to be the inside corner of the Roush flares, which they had originally heated up and molded back to avoid the rub. I went back...
