I called so many dealers looking for one that had them in stock, so they could verify they were the right one (the parts catalog only shows them as outlines, so it's hard to verify a color)
I was going to order them through you guys, I got my FP tune and my engine cover through you. But after...
The current design language eliminated the Chevy for me. I just find it incredibly ugly. I think the Ranger is much nicer on the eyes. Honestly, all the recent Chevys have such ugly front ends. I don't like the new Silverado and this thing is a travesty
I quite like the truck in the bed, and the steps in the bumper, I wish our trucks had those features to be honest, but hey, the Ranger is a much older platform. I do like the front end of the Santa Cruz, but if I was actually in the market for one of these compact unibody trucks, the Maverick...
The whole matte plastic inner section tabs into the painted surround then the tabs are melted. The smaller section with the trim level nameplate (lariat, xlt) is similarly tabbed into the middle section (the three tabs in the square holes are the nameplate") and then it's tabs are melted. It...
2021 Ranger. My first ford at all actually. I BREIFLY owned a mercury tracer when I was a teenager and I had my temps, but it was gone before I even got my license, and I only drove it twice. so I can't really call that a daily driver.
Just a bit of heads up the bracket requires a slight bit of modification on the Tremor as the tremor's upfitter switches fuse box has a bracket where the catch can bracket is designed to go.
I also contacted mishimoto about the bracket. Slightly modified the existing bracket to make it fit on my Tremor rather than having it flop around though. Elongated the holes in the mishimoto bracket, and cut the screw on the Tremor fuse bracket, and it fit just fine and is secure.
As a Midwest...
Getting back to the threaded holes, what is up with the price of additional tie downs?! Is there a great tie down shortage or something? I found old posts saying they were like $20 for a set and now they're more than 3 times that shipped.
I play Pokemon Go, and you'd be AMAZED at the game breaking bugs that get through. I genuinely don't think Niantic tests anything. Like, a few weeks ago there was a new update that had a strobing (potentially seizure inducing) white flash every time you'd encounter a pokemon. The thing you'd...
I dunno, you got me. It sure LOOKS the same as the standard diff cover on the outside. But I'm not about to sacrifice my truck For Science to see if it'll work despite the website saying it won't.
Yep that's it exactly. The XLT doesn't have them. They're pretty much standard everywhere else because side indicators are legally required in most countries, but in the US they can skip out.
I *probably* have part numbers. I talked to a dealership that had them in stock, and they said "yeah, they are all black and say lariat" they wouldn't send me a picture of them, but I've got a set ordered. If they're correct when they show up, I'll post the part numbers.
Now we wait...
