this may not be the best place for this, but after reading I've discovered people running 265/70/18's on their trucks. I guess that will fit stock? I want something bigger on my truck, especially since I'm planning on getting a level soon, but between the internet and the master fitment thread I...
It's not my design, but I have printed this in PETG. It's a little bezel for the ignition cylinder. It works great, and with a little sanding and/or paint, it looks almost factory.

I was poking around FORScan the other day and noticed an option for an oil pressure display when poking around in one of the menus (I was changing the Avg MPG screen to numeric instead of a bar if that helps locate which one). I wonder if anyone has tried that option and knows what it does. I do...
I couldn't tell you off the top of my head. I found it all in the FORScan Crowdsourced Wiki on this forum. (link here) they list quite a few useful mods; I'll definitely be playing with it more in the coming days.
I just tried my hand at ForScan myself to perform the ABS bleed, change my 12v power sockets to stay on 15 minutes instead of 75, and was going to disable the fake engine sound. I found out that the engine sound was disabled already, but I was able to change everything else through the GUI. VERY...
I just got my OBDII adaptor, and this was the first thing I did. WOW, I didn't know the ABS pump would be that loud. I don't notice much difference in the pedal's feel, but the brakes engage earlier. I almost sent myself through the windshield the first time I drove it after.
I use the Bak Revolver X4s; it's a hardcover that rolls instead of folding. Thanks to the redesign that Bak did on their later model covers, it does not need to be open to close the tailgate.
I do use Android Auto. I even bought the AAWireless to enable wireless functionality. I just dislike Google Maps. It has frequently taken me to the wrong place, and will make stupid adjustments like taking me on unnamed dirt roads because it thinks it saves time. (That's how I got a Ford Fusion...
I finally got around to installing my dashcam & a BuiltRight Industries mounting plate for my Garmin.
Sorry for the lighting; this was the best I could do without moving spots. Cam is a Thinkware F200 Pro. I have the rear cam too, but the picture I took came out horrible. I will try to get...
We don't have a Valvoline around here, but we have the Take 5 Oil places all over my town. I've used one of them for my old Dodge, my dad's Fusion, and my sister has taken her Dakota there. They've never missed anything, always walk us through resetting the oil life indicator, let you visually...
I recently installed the GTR Lighting Carbide Series 2 bulbs. (See here) They're great. Nice and bright with no hyperflash. I also installed some Diode Dynamics HP5 bulbs for the license plate and third brake light. (Two white and one red bulb) They're super bright and give the truck a much more...
I've got 35% on all four windows and the back glass, with a limo tint brow on the windshield. With the factory privacy glass in the rear, it comes down to something like 15%. It's perfect for me because even though it's illegal where I'm at, it's still light enough in the front that most won't...
A very useful chart, I'll be saving this for reference. Thanks!
I've been looking everywhere. Does anyone know the part number for the plug (Male & Female ends) for the cigarette lighter socket? I want to piggyback off that circuit but don't want to cut wires on a brand-new truck.
I use Chevron and RaceTrack gasoline primarily. Always at least mid-grade (89-octane where I'm at) just out of habit because my old Dodge ran like crap on 87-octane. My father and I refuse to use Shell gasoline because he's pretty sure that's what caused some of the issues he had on his last...
How do you disable the fake noises through forscan? I'm thinking about adding a sub to my truck and obviously don't want that going through the new amp.
I've already posted in this thread, but feel like posting again. ?
I've gotten tired of sticking my key in the gap instead of in the ignition cylinder, so I 3D-printed a cover from PETG. It could be better, I'm still pretty new to 3D printing, but it works well! The next step is a dashcam...
I guess I don't quite understand the question. I ordered the part online from Levittown Ford, the part number is specifically for the Ranger. I'm not familiar with the Mustangs, it's possible they're interchangeable but I wouldn't know.
Agreed ? Really wanted it to address the service bulletin about water in the spark plug wells, as well as to maybe quiet that injector "tick". Living in the swamp, I do run into a lot of water, even without going off-road, so I figured the cover will help.
