Had the Ranger Supercrew FX4 since December 2020, and it has been a great vehicle.
But, now having five granddaughters, ages 8, 7, 4, 1, and 3 months, the rear seat just is not big enough anymore.
Sold the Ranger (at 36k miles) to Carmax for $32k and bought a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, the...
To get wire into the cab, get a wire insertion tool. Under $10 at O'Reilleys. Pierce the wiring grommet (to the left of the steering grommet) under the dash with the wire insertion tool. Feed your wire through the hole in the wire insertion tool. The wire will come out on the other side of...
Installed a President Bill CB radio along with a President New Virginia antenna. The radio sits in its bracket on top of two 1/2" nylon spacers mounted to a Ram mount in the dash tray. Used a wire insertion tool to get the + and - wires through the firewall wiring grommet. Attached a ring...
I have a used Access Vanish soft tonneau cover and all mounting hardware. Fits a Supercrew.. No rips, tears, or stains. Decided to go with a solid tri-fold. I will sell the Access cover for $50.00 to make room in the garage.

I have three vehicles. The wife's Jeep Rubicon has a SiriusXM subscription. With the one subscription, you get the free Sirius app. You can play the app via Bluetooth on almost any other vehicle. I use the app to listen to Sat radio in my Ranger and Mustang. Used the app this weekend in my...
Bought a Swing Out storage bin on sale on Black Friday. Installed this afternoon. If your truck has a Ford spray-in bedliner, you will need to clean out the three (3) 6mm holes by the tailgate, as well as the larger holes for the center and aft tie-downs. After a quick trip to Home Depot for...
Removed and reinstalled the Fumoto oil drain valve. This time used a 12mm copper crush washer from O'Reillys to secure the adapter to the oil pan. BTW, the adapter takes a 7/8" socket and the valve is 3/4." Finally, picked up a brother for the Ranger.
Ordered a 3-bike rack from Amazon, but it was 3" too wide to fit within the space between the bottom of the wheel wheels. So, I built an elevated stand from some spare pieces of 2x4. The bike rack mounts to the stand with 1" aluminum straps from Home Depot. It turned out OK for my purposes...
