Put tailgate dampener's on the trucks. What a difference! Easy install...
I should also point out that this is the cheapest single upgrade that gives the greatest improvement of any mod I have ever performed on a truck! for 25 bucks... cant beat it. I use my bed a lot, though. Its my...
We just sold ours. Like you, we tent camped all our life and as we got older wanted a bed and a/c.
Some things I learned.
If you take your trailer on an 8 hour drive. Its the same thing as your house going through a 8 hour long mag 5 earthquake. Meaning... things break all the time. Its...
Thx for the Vid. Sheesh, your not kidding.. PIA.
Last two I installed were on Chevy full sized trucks. easy peasy.. There was even room to put a military cot under the hood so I could take a nap.
Nice ride!
Can you take some pics of the catch can install? I have one ready to go, but have not started researching where/how with the Rangers. It was pretty easy with my preveous Silverado's.
Ok - I have a weird one for you all.
My wife has the Tremor. She will never use the dash mounted switches that come with the Tremor.
I have the FX4 and desperatley want the switches. I was hoping that the wiring harness was in the FX4 and that all I would have to do is plug/play. It does...
Nice looking. Who makes those? Is King Ranch the brand?
I have used WT's for years. With the Ranger I went with Huskies just to try something different. Love them. No complaints.
Normally, I am all for de-badging a vehicle. I may be in the minority, but I really like what ford did with the emblems on the side. I think they look really good... sporty.. tough... clean lines... etc. I am keeping mine. But respect for swapping if that your thing...

21 Tremor gets 21.x mpg (mostly country rd driving).
21 non Tremor gets 25.5 (Mostly interstate driving).
Non ethanol costs more depending on where you are. But it reduces coking and increases efficiency.
Yea, big diff. I went the cheap route - the whole kit was aprox $50 on amazon. I had the extend the wiring harness as, I believe, it was intended for a jeep.
Since I purchased it I have:
- Tinted front windows to match the rears
- Added Huskey Floor liners to the front (always used weathertech's in the past and wanted to try something different)
- Added a weathertech bump step (this is my third one - it has saved my bumper 3 times. I cant recommend...
Traded my 2020 Silverado 2500 LT w/ 6.6 gasser in for a 21 Ranger Lariat FX4 (Black). I do a lot of driving and couldnt stomach the amount of money I was spending on gas.
Man, I love this truck!
My wife has a 21 Lariat Tremor. I was so impressed with it. That is why when it came time to...
