2020 lariat scab, VA and WV mountains, with dusty roads.
*The bed is a bit too high for this old man, so I added a Bestop bed step.
*I used to hate the dust getting into the bed with a cover, but I've been hauling so much stuff lately the cover hasn't been on for 2 years, so this problem is moot.
Open a case with eBay that the listing was incorrect. Seller has to pay shipping, I think.
Or, reach out to the seller and ask for return. Even if it was listed as no return, eBay will side with you.
Added: I got a price for my outback from Carvana, and posted that in autotrader. Someone said they'de give me 500 more, so I said great, come get it. He contacted me back and said CV would never give me that much.
I accepted the CV offer, and they came and got it for their offered price...
My experience with Carvana, you won't get more for it.
Things may have changed, but I sold an outback when I bought my truck, and my trade value was horrible and my private sale just had people telling me I'd never get the same from Carvana.
I sold to Carvana and got 2x my trade value, and 2K...
There's other threads about this, some showing ways to put wire mesh over the vent openings under the cowling.
I've found that mothballs or peppermint aren't very effective, but others have had luck with it. I have some of the peppermint pouches in the glove box and spray peppermint around the...
Not sure about the 6G/Sync4, but on my 5G/Sync3 I could use the shuffle function to play random tracks from a USB stick. The only problem was that the stick would sometimes get corrupted and I'd have to format it and reload the music... until it finally got so corrupt that It wouldn't reformat...
After my one close call, I think I set mine at full sensitivity. I'd much rather be annoyed, than have a situation where I rely on the 'system' to brake without enough room to stop me.
I think there is also a sensitivity setting in the dash menu somewhere for that.
I get warnings from time and time, and once it actually saved my ass. I glanced down at the radio or something, it started screaming at me; someone in front of me had suddenly slowed down to make a turn.
Usually they will, but we bought some concrete epoxy recently and only used 1 of the 2 tubes... they woudn't take the 2nd unused tube back. But, on inspection, it said is the listing 'not returnable'. So, just be sure to read the fine print.
I have the 2020 Oct build lariat and I had my battery replaced at Autozone, they used an ODB memory saver and it worked fine.
The reason I replaced it was it suddenly locked my truck with the key fob inside, and the app wouldn't unlock the truck. Costed me $150 to get it unlocked.... plus the...
I don't jackrabbit off the starts, but when I get to speed I drive it like I stole it, Usually 75-85 on the highway.
After 4 years of owning it, mileage has increased from around 21 to 24-25 highway. I have never calibrated the MPG, and that is from the dash read-out; all stock, so take that...
I own one for the Ranger. There is a plastic insert that slips into a slot in the frame that keeps the step centered when you tighten it up. So, if you buy it used, make sure to contact the seller and verify it comes with all the parts.
FWIW, I like my step a lot, and the only thing a little...
My only beef with normal drive mode is that it wants to hang out in 7th when it should be in 4th, but I've gotten used to taping the pedal to make it shift.
Tow mode would fix that, but I only use it when in the mountains, or, when actually towing.
I use tow mode in the mountains with or without a load or trailer. It saves from riding the brakes going downhill. I don't know any detriment in doing it.
