For me, it's a tough decision on what size tires to go with. I have 265/65-18 ordered and sitting at Discount Tire but don't think one inch taller with a 2,5: lift is enough to notice a big enough difference to justify the over $1K cost, at least in pics I see here. I guess I have to see the...
That's one way to go.
I just posted to let others know that an almost perfect spare tire match to the 265/65-18 up size is a 265/75-16 mounted on 16" steel wheel..
For the spare I went with a Trailmaster made by Kumho. The spare won't be on too long but can be, so the steel wheel is fine.

I'm probably going with upsize Continental Terrain Contact A/T in a 265/65-18.
My spare is a 16" steelie.
I found a 265/75-16 is only 0.09 ' taller which match up very well,
Going with a cheap Westlake $102 tire for the spare.

Thanks!
I saw two measurements on the Conti Terrain Contact. 8.7 and 9.1 and didn't find another with tread width specification of either of those numbers.

They fixed their mistake well. I waited instead of bothering with a loaner. They apologized and cleaned what had to be cleaned. A very faint scent of oil that will go away in a couple of days.
The dealer is doing what they should do. It's a lease. So no big deal.
Clean the engine, don't clean it. Just clean the areas that is causing the burnt oil odor in the vehicle.
The engine compartment in my Ranger is detailed. 5he MKC lease, I never opened the hood and it's 8900 miles till now.
Only Lincoln dealer near me and that one is 15 miles away.
I don't care if they're laughing. Lincoln Roadside Service is flat bedding to the dealer and the dealer is giving me a Lincoln loaner.
I'm sure the mechanic that screwed up isn't laughing.
