They fixed their mistake well. I waited instead of bothering with a loaner. They apologized and cleaned what had to be cleaned. A very faint scent of oil that will go away in a couple of days.

The dealer is doing what they should do. It's a lease. So no big deal. Clean the engine, don't clean it. Just clean the areas that is causing the burnt oil odor in the vehicle. The engine compartment in my Ranger is detailed. 5he MKC lease, I never opened the hood and it's 8900 miles till now.

Only Lincoln dealer near me and that one is 15 miles away. I don't care if they're laughing. Lincoln Roadside Service is flat bedding to the dealer and the dealer is giving me a Lincoln loaner. I'm sure the mechanic that screwed up isn't laughing.
