Here's my final update. From what I gathered the original problem was the CDF. The had to jump through Ford's hoops and try software updates first. None of that worked so Ford had them change the valve body twice. Still no good. At that point I contacted Ford's customer relations hotline and...
42 days and STILL at the dealership. Transmission is rebuilt and back in the truck but now thy are saying the valve body needs replaced. Parts ordered and waiting. I’m done with Ford and trading in when get it back.
I feel ya. Im at 24 days on my rebuild and I had to wait 2 weeks before they could get me in due to the transmission guy being backed up. I'll also be out of power train warranty in a week. I maybe done with Ford and the 10R/L80
