I believe this to be indicative of the way Ford has been treating their customers as of late. Deleting options, no offers of alternatives, etc. The Ranger Community has shown them they are tired of being jerked around. I know I am.
Hey, it's your truck! LOL!! I understand though. Gotta keep the peace! Love mine. Got it with a full headliner and LED lighting. Also got a 12V outlet in the back to power spotlight or other items.
I would have probably ordered a Platinum Ranger if it were available in the 2022 model year. Maybe then Ford wouldn't delete the little extras that mean so much...
I visited the Ford website again as if I were going to order a new 2023. In the build, it INCLUDES the LEDs for the Lariats still. I took to FB and sent the following message to Ford,
" WTH Ford?! Your site for ordering the 2023 Ranger Lariat still includes the LED headlights and fog lights in...
I got the right color blue, but, because I wanted the SCab, I couldn't get it with the Tremor package. I did get the FX-4 though. I got the SCab and used my amassed Ford Rewards points to purchase the Tremor Suspension and put it on mine. But, since Ford enjoys screwing the customer so much...
I'd really like to put the LEDs in mine as they were deleted from my order too. I'm having a hard time with the cost of them though. Ford crediting $500 for what costs over $4000 (here) just for the parts alone?! Not to mention the installation. I personally think this was decisive and...
Ford cares very little as to what the customers want. They delete content after your order without any other options or choices offered. They take the attitude of "buy it or not, we don't really care what you think because somebody will eventually buy it off the lot."
Thanks for the details Paul. A friend of mine from the Navy lives there. He used to live in Edgewood but as his dad got older and needed care, he moved in with him in Albuquerque. I think he still works at the University there as an HVAC / Maintenance technician. We were pretty much like...
Looks like fun! I've lived my entire life (outside of the USN) in the midwest. Not sure I could ever convince the family to move to that area or climate. Would probably be a lot better for our health though.
Just a couple shots of my 2022 SCAB. Adds - WeatherTech mats throughout, WeatherTech mud flaps, Westin polished rocksliders, ARE Topper, Spray-in bedliner, and Tremor Suspension.
