I have a 265/65/R18 mounted on one of the Ford Sport 18" wheels under there, I think a 265/70/R18 would probably fit as there's a little bit of space all around (tho it's close). A thicker tire than a 265 is going to get pretty close to impinging on the straight line from the bottom of the rear...
I've got a pre-schooler and an infant and this review makes no sense. I've got an Chicco KeyFit on one side -- attaching the infant seat base is a cinch (i.e. it can be done in <30 seconds); attaching the KeyFit without the base isn't particularly hard using the rear seat shoulder straps...
Random thing I found that's kind of neat: in the front middle cup holders (with the rubber footprint pulled out) there's a keyfob icon printed on the rear one. If you put the keyfob over it, it fits very snugly into the space and doesn't move about if you leave it there while driving. Not sure...
I'm amazed that people don't have it go off more often as mine seems to dramatically over-sense people ahead of me in a travel lane who are making a right hand turn. Even if I'm going 35 and there are 4-5 car lengths, when they slow down to turn my dash alert goes off.
