I just typed in the brand and what he had in the picture. I want a set of chrome ones for my truck. But hard to believe you can get 24 quality lug nuts for just $27.38.
Hey George, My 19 is the same. So much so that I had to drill out the top two license plate holes and new license plate frame to get them both to mount lower so it would clear the gate when down. And I searched for the thinnest plate frame I could find!
I keep mine in a ziplock and store it under my back seat compartment. On my Mustang and F150 I have the Fumoto but for the Ranger I absolutely love the Valvomax. I don’t have to remove the skid plate and I drain it right into a two gallon gas can.
I’m not doubting you got a counterfeit one and I’d be hesitant to buy from eBay myself. But what I noticed is Valvomax must have changed their packaging over the years. They also have a metal version and plastic version. Here’s a similar picture of the one I purchased directly from them around...
I wouldn’t loose any sleep over it. You can just let it hang there it won’t cause any damage. I don’t remember what I did with mine, I could check but if you zip tied it to make you feel better that’s not a bad idea either. Here are a few videos on YT where they just left it alone.
I was wondering what happened. Glad you got them working. Mine haven’t given me a problem since I had an installer take over. Like I originally said, when I first tried to install them myself I too had binding. I also took a video of it before going to the installer thinking there may have been...
The Motorcraft ones for the 6g are nice. Much prefer those over the 5g flaps that wrap around the outside of the wheel wells. Not a fan unless you use PPF or never plan on removing them.
I’ve got (2) 3 ton “floor” jacks in my garage as shop jacks but I agree with you. This is what I’d want in the bed of my truck. After watching the video I definitely think I’m going to pick one up. Thanks for the idea.
