A really great example of being "upside down" is I buy a $80,000 BMW X5 4 years ago and want to trade it in for a new $80,000 X5 today, but I still owe $57,000 on my current X5 and they will only give me $35,000 on my trade. That's a negative equity of $22,000 which means my new X5 will cost me...
To me it was a major misstep for Ford to launch their EV efforts with a product that ended up being a $90-110,000 vehicle for most people. Ford, to me, is the company that could make an EV for everybody and that means $30,000 - $40,000 trim levels for a basic vehicle with AC and a radio and...
@subquark if you ever feel like one day I've blocked your comments it is not because of anything you've said or done, it's because you post too many products that I myself then start to convince myself that I also need - Olights in this case - and I'm starting to think our relationship is not...

Yes, exactly - I was meaning a fuel trim issue. Its a pretty big leap but without any trouble codes all you have are the hard facts that you're at least 2-3 MPG off what a 4x4 is achieving no problem.
I think your only options are to hook up some live diagnostics to your truck with a laptop and a cable (or a handheld that does it if you happen to have access to an Autel or something like that,) Look at the data for your air and fuel. It could be a trim issue.
That said option 2 is a bad one...
Tell her, as the saying goes, "When in Rome..." You were in some of the most picturesque locations not only in our Country but on the Planet! A price to pay, sure, but the payoff must be grand.
Welcome back Dave! Thanks for taking us along for the ride. This was really a wonderful journal of your adventures. You really seemed to have made the most of your time. Money Pit the Second is properly broken in now, I suppose, and in the best way imaginable! Glad you're both home and Annie can...
