Good eye, yeah those are the Ridge Grapplers.
Im not an expert of how much closer the wheel will be with a 1" spacer, but if i were to guess it would be hopefully only a .5" closer. Id imagine it would be similar to adding 1" wider tires, not exactly but close i think.
Hard to say for sure, i do know itll probably be way too close for comfort.
This is my tremor completely stock and its distance to the crash bar, almost a finger off the plastic cover which isnt that thick.
I now have 17x9 wheels at a +30mm offset, so very close to a 1" spacer, and 285/70/17s...
Well if its like mine not many with how much the tires will be screaming. The tq on those things stock would have you spinning till 60 lol.
Actually gonna try some 305/40/18 NT555RIIs for mine soon.
If the Tremor came with cloth seats, then i probably wouldve gotten the Lariat. The vinyl seats are very nice, although i only have 3500 miles on, cant say anything durability so far.
I upgraded the lights, honestly kinda disappointed in the alpharex besides the looks. If you were planning on...
I have 0 complaints with my XLT Tremor interior overall, having leather/cloth (or whatever material they use) without having to go to Lariat and its imo terrible gauge cluster was nice.
That stripe reminds me of this logo lol
I do like the stripes on the tremor, sort of wish mine did, but also like the clean look of just velocity blue, torn on both.
Same boat, was lookin for a new car/truck for the past year, but everything was insane on the used market.
Stopped by a ford dealership, saw a tremor there and took it out for a spin and was sold. Love how it rides and handles. Wish i could be getting 26mpg like some do on here, but im happy...
I have a similar thing for my lightning, comes from the bottom of the air box to the lower valence. Didnt really notice a difference in power or mpgs (not like id notice a difference from 11mpg).
But my IAT2s (Temps after blower in the intake) drop a bit more from it while giving it throttle...
Saw this on that group too, but appreciate the excellent write up and making sure what i got from the vid also matched up to yours.
Still puzzled why it has a mushy brake even compared to other similar ford vehicles too. I drove a Ford Edge and that thing was insanely touchy on the brakes, just...
I cut the crash bars in half (The removable part) long ways and that was it. Stock tremor suspension and lift.
Havent taken it off road on trails, but on some bumpy dirt roads no rubbing on the front wheel air damn or fender liners. Its like 2 fingers away from the plastic air damn at full lock...
Not sure on suspension since my tremor has a few different pieces there, but you may need to cut or remove your crash bars with that size if you havent already done so. I think it clears your knuckle but not sure. Depending on your lift or none for that matter you may also hit the fender liner...
Yeah was lookin at wheels for a while, but couldnt find many that sort of matched the Tremor wheels. Friend directed me to these and i was sold.
They do have a somewhat gritty texture, also wish they were more of a shiny grey vs a dull grey, but close enough.
With a tear in my eye (Wish the Tremor/Ranger raptor wheels came with less positive offset) i took off my tremor wheels and replaced them with RTR tech 6 wheels (17x9, +30) with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17
Absolutely love the look of this, and stop n go feels pretty much the same. Nitto...
I get 19.3-19.6 handcalc'd
Screen says 21-21.5mpg
Some highway mixed in with 45-55mph roads for majority.
Stock setup with a soft bed cover, tire pressures @ cold 34psi, 93 octane. Florida summer weather.
Swapped to lighter wheels, but heavier and bigger tires and the screen is reporting...
I unfortunately think it wont be too popular next to the 10spd.
But that said it would still be totally awesome to have one.
Still a dream of mine to get the 6spd SRT10 Viper truck one of these days next to my lightning.
