    My understanding on the FPT is that it must be installed by an ASE certified mechanic for the warranty to remain in effect. That doesn't mean it must be a Ford dealer, just ASE certified. Also, the FPT warranty is 3/36 from NEW, not from when you bought the tuner. Since your truck is a 2022...
