it has been a real dilemma for my coach. She said she wasn’t going to talk to me until I got off the prednisone (which I actually had started my final
tapering a few days ago), but she saw me moving around gingerly this morning and didn’t feel she could jump all over me for being a couch...
I think that sounds right, kind of a no brainer.
I think I would go with Edmonton MaMa on this one. :)

I will leave this one piece of advice to anyone considering a hip replacement.
After it is all done and you are feeling really good, when they tell you you can quit the meds and they admonish you to take a week to taper down, listen to them.

Retail on everything at dealer MSRP and a serious shop rate, maybe so?
But then, pulling over just when the oil light came on, resulting in a seized engine, seems a little far...
I think I saw like $5700 on a Ford parts site, I think it was a Ford reman. Still a far cry from $13K+.
I think the OP might be able to maybe get some relief through small claims court, depending on his local SCC laws. Many go up to like $20K. If my math is right, he still is out about $10K...
You probably know this already, but just in case, caster is essentially the king pin angle. Caster works to keep your wheels pointed straight ahead, so more caster makes turning that wheel more difficult when rolling ahead (steering more heavy).
Think of a shopping cart, with the front wheels...
It may be too late to patent now.
I would have to take a look at the "prior art" laws nowadays, but I think it is in the public domain now. Sorry dude. :)
