Bump from the dead. Have been googling the past hour or so on this exact type of product, and this thread came in one of the results. Just emailed SVC and they in fact discontinued it with no plans for resurrection. Looks like I'm fabin my own. Shouldn't be that hard
Not gonna lie, not too familiar with Ford parts system, and the Tremor. I assumed a 2021 Tremor VIN would bring up the correct part number for the P/S molding. I thought the Ford Performance stuff was considered "accessory" parts us "normal" Ranger folks could get to add to our trucks lol.
I would hit up Benny @LevittownFordParts.com just to make sure it's discontinued or just on Back order. I have a hard time believing a 2021 Tremor has discontinued parts already.
But then again, this is Ford we're talking about
Awfully nice of the city to build an offroad park at the end of my street.:angel:
I'd go give it go and try it out if it wasn't for this guy.
I'm sure it's just there to discourage a "Armored Rage Dozer" type of incident, but I'm not taking a chance since I live down the street lol.
I "assume" it should be fairly simple. A little heat gun action and a plastic trim tool should do the trick. I'll document my process though for removal and install. :like:
So I finally got around to detailing my Ranger (after many delays due to "insert excuse here") and it came out great. Had some water spots on the roof and some light scratches/swirl marks on the hood. Used Adams Swirl and Scratch remover...
This is what I did, I used Dura-coatings trim coat though. The magic eraser trick worked great!
