  1. Fender air box feed

Interestingly, I just hyper dipped my side vents last weekend. That was the first time I’ve had them off and was able to see inside the fender. You are correct that our Ranger fenders lend themselves well for air flow. I’m very interested in your dyno data when you get the mrs go on that. I need...
  2. Fender air box feed

I really like your train of thought on all of this. Let me do a little peer review but I'll be gentle....lol. I'm not sure if you know what I'm running for the CAI. I did what I call a home made setup with the stock air box, an aFe power scoop, and a K&N filter. I believe that gives me at least...
  3. GM is pulling the plug on gas and diesel by 2035

I'm not anti-electric at all.....most of the electric cars are SILLY fast! I am against breaking the oil and gas industry when that is how we power EVERYTHING in this Country at this point. Especially with the events that have transpired over the last year....we need stability and cheap energy...
  4. Is This How The 2.7 EB Really Looks?

Brother....I can eat V6 Jeeps for breakfast in my tuned 2.3 Ranger with a few mods.... Now the V8's....especially that Track Hawk.....I'm not messing with that...lol.

Leave my gasoline ALONE JOE! Such a uniter....lol
  6. Fender air box feed

Just out of curiosity....how do you think this will help with performance?
  7. Livernois Tuning Question

I'm still looking for PID files that work on the Ranger for the OBDII setup with Torque Pro to get more gauge data from the available factory programming. I have poured over the Focus RS and F150 forums but I'm still a bit fuzzy on this subject. Learning everyday is my goal...lol Question for...
  8. Fuel in oil

Thanks! LOTS and LOTS of highway miles! (106 mile daily commute on Interstate) I also run her pretty good on a daily basis. Not crazy but when I pull in the garage in the evening....you hear that ting....ting....of the superheated exhaust cooling down ;) I need to wrap that downpipe...lol I am...
  9. Fuel in oil

I got my Blackstone analysis back today. All looks great, definitely NO fuel in oil issue with my Ranger.
  10. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

I finally figured out who owns the Ranger next to mine.....no less than the BIG boss around here...The City Manager.... I knew it had to be someone from city leadership, just from where they park....lol. i told him we can hook him up with some FORScan work and some aftermarket mods...
  11. The PIC whore club! Come on in!

All I know is they get A LOT of snow up there. Friend on mine from the UP I worked with in Texas for 10 years told me his family had a entrance door on the second floor due to the amount of snow they had to deal with....? Way too much for this Texas guy...lol
  12. The PIC whore club! Come on in!

As semi-tropical as it is....Where I grew up in Houston only gets 204 sunshine days/yr...Must be that 48" average rainfall that does that....lol. At least your not in the UP ;)
  13. The PIC whore club! Come on in!

After growing up and living along the Texas Gulf Coast for most of my life I have 3 things about Colorado spring/summer that I LOVE....1) No Bugs 2) No Bugs 3) No Bugs..... #4 would be "almost no humidity" So there are bugs here....but in the mountains where the moose hang out in swampy...
  14. Catch Can Poll

That is interesting...I guess I need to go ahead and invest in that UPR system with the constant vacuum. I'm tired of that smell lingering in the garage. I'm also wondering how long those hoses will last. Thanks for the field testing, it helps us all!
  15. Wheel Spacers; Good or Bad?

Thanks Bret....I will be watching and checking them closely..... Just an observation for the group about these new wheel spacers. I only put the anti-seize on by recommendation of FactionFab. If you watch their video where I mistook the 150 ft/lbs of bolt torque, they recommend it due to the...
  16. Wheel Spacers; Good or Bad?

Bret I've got at least 1/4" of thread beyond the nut on the spacers. Thanks for looking out, I appreciate it and when I re-installed them I was sure to check that.
  17. Colder Spark Plug for Tuned Rangers

It looks like mine are just about identical to the "normal burning" example. That makes me very happy to see! Thanks Garrett!
  18. Wheel Spacers; Good or Bad?

No...I did not put any anti-seize on any studs or lug nuts. Only on the wheel spacer itself where there would be metal to metal contact with the hub of the wheel. FactionFab shows that on there installation video. The only thing I missed was the fact that was an install for an F-150 and thus the...
  19. Wheel Spacers; Good or Bad?

I'm going to retorque them after the game and see where I'm at. I have definitely pushed those wheels since installing the spacers on Friday night. I went out running around after and then again last night. I sure hope I don't cause an issue by messing with them. I was using a Pittsburg torque...
  20. RAT Stat 170* thermostat

I don't have any fuel in my oil problems so I definitely want to run with a colder thermostat to increase coolant flow in my engine. That will most definitely extend the potential life of my EcoBeast...lol. I'm not an engine guy...I just drive the crap out of mine and believe in the principal's...
