Did both the clearance lights, mirrors and turn signals in mine. I've gotten used to the fast flash in the vehicle but it sometimes catches attention of the passengers. The turn signals still blink normally outside the cab, that is all I'm concerned with.
If all else fails call the local fire department, I bet they will use the "jaws of life" and cut open a hole for you. Probably for free!
On a serious note I hope its something as simple as reattaching a wire end.
Was able to do three passes this rainy weekend, came back very confused.

I have a feeling that the majority of the debris came from the eighty+ mile an hour wind storm I went though a few months back. The highway I was traveling is bordered by farm land and the topsoil was all in the air making visibility less than a vehicle length.

From what I see from the Karr sight it might give you additional features like geo-fencing and the like but I would ask them to remove it as the OEM alarm system is fine. Only thing I've notice thats missing is a vibration sensor for glass breaks.
@jrscobra, I see your set up is simular to mine with mud flaps. Did you notice any difference in highway handling with the topper installed? I would hate to invest in the topper and have it act like my previous Xterra. The Xterra had issues with high winds but that may have been complected by...
