So, I have a question. I keep hearing people say that they installed a tailgate damper so when their hands were full it wouldn't slam down. Well, if you hands were full how did you open it in the first place?
I really like the look of the 3.4 update but I am just really pissed I lost my climate controls. The physical controls on the dash are a pain in the butt to see during the day so I used the touchscreen exclusively. Otherwise, I think it is a worthwhile update.
That's exactly what I was thinking as well. Adding 1 or two gallons of E85 is basically just making it E15 so I don't see what the benefit is.
P.S. I am literally laughing at the name Big D.
Well not today but a few weeks ago I had the 2 fronts tinted 20% to match the rears. When I lived in Las Vegas my brother owned a tint and detail shop so it would go straight from the dealer to his shop for tint. Since I moved to KS 4.5 years ago I actually had to find a tiny shop.
That guy reminds me of a teacher I had that swore buying a Pentium was unnecessary because a 386 SX16 did the same thing. He had zero evidence other than changing things on cars is bad because it is not built like that from the factory.
I bought my Escort ZX2 at Friendly Ford and my Escape at Gaudin when they were down on East Charleston. I always had great service at both.
A friend of mine was a tech at the dealer up on Ann Rd. (can't remember the name) and he always hooked me up with deals on parts for the Escape.
Mine only went off while traveling a low speeds. Once I backed up or pulled out of the driveway they stopped beeping. I think it was only the low speed parking sensors.
I have gotten between 16.8 to 18.5 MPG since I bought the truck in November. I took my son to a lake about 35 miles away yesterday to do some fishing on my friends boat and got 25.8 MPG round trip. That is pretty good considering what I have gotten so far.
