I removed the stupid hangie-down steps and installed Shrockworks frame sliders. I put traction tape on the wife’s side so she can enter and exit with grace.
Combustion gas goes behind the rings and pushes them out against the cylinder wall. Pistons rings would not seal if they relied only on spring pressure.

Usually these ”blind rivet” fasteners come out by pushing the center pin in. These ain’t coming out. The center pins wont go in even with a hammer and punch.
Do you drill these out like big blind rivets in metal framing and so on?

I flush my brake fluid every two years. Coolant stays until there is a reason to change it (leak, water pump, etc.).
Brake fluid is hygroscopic meaning it absorbs water in the air. When I serviced BMW cars our standard brake flush interval was 2 years.

No, not necessary. If it was necessary it is a trivial evolution. I‘ve done it in the past on other installs. The instructions are included with Warn and Smittybilt winches.
