I’ve used sites like TOP TIER when I’m in uncharted territory.
Edit: Holy sh*t. I did a new search and just realized my local BP (and presumably Amoco/BP across the board) is no longer Top Tier. Ugh…
PPE Shallow Pan arrived today at a phenomenal price from Stage3. Thanks Frank!
Now I have to sort out install…I really wanted to tackle this project myself - but, I’ve grown weary with all the 10R80 issues that perhaps I should get the dealer to install to alleviate any potential warranty claim...
Thanks. I wasn’t planning on the deep pan. I agree - doesn’t seem necessary and I’d rather the ground clearance.
You’re the second vote for sticking with Motorcraft.
I am about to install the shallow pan myself along with a new filter and everything that goes along with it. Waiting on a Fitzstick and still deciding on which oil to use....leaning towards Valvoline.
I have a pretty good relationship with my dealer - but, I bought it used with 28k on it and...
The no fuel in oil is huge. I have a feeling I won’t get rid of it completely because my commute is so short. But, here is my latest Bronco (2.3L, Manual Transmission) that I’ve been running Motul since 10k miles.
I like nerding out on these reports as well. I have been doing them with my old VWs for a while and now did a few during the first 30k of my Bronco to get a baseline. I’m running Motul there and plan to switch to that or Amsoil for the Ranger.
You can always upgrade to the Motorcraft FL-400S...
Over the past week I dialed in all my Forscan settings. Last night I installed aFe Power Dry Magnum Flow Air Filter & Dynamic Scoop, Velossa Tech Big Mouth Ram Air Intake as well as a Pedal Commander. Magnaflow Overland Catback Exhaust is next…but, probably will be a couple of months as I’m...
Ah well. Yeah, it is a bit slower around here than B6G. But, I almost appreciate it more than all the fluff and exorbitant money wasting builds over there.
Well, I’m in for a pair if anyone bails on you or of you hear if anyone getting rid of theirs.
I find the “why is it so expensive?” crowd...
Is there a new link for this product? Original link in the first post isn’t working. I have a similar product on my Bronco and they come in super handy.
I have one too. It was in an old tool box my grandfather gave me.
I found it when I was putting my first modification on my Bronco. Being that it was the first new vehicle I’ve ever bought myself and it was afforded by working our asses off for our small family business. A pretty proud moment...
Wow. Took me a while to dig up any information on this process. So, consensus is the original flares are trash after removal?
I’m really want to see black Tremor flares on magnetic - but, wager no one has gone through the trouble of getting them painted. Maybe matte black PPF?
So great! I have a thread here about the SVC collars HERE. The ride is amazing. Feels much more planted. I’ll get more feedback once we get it off the pavement.
