if thats your comfort level then by all means stick to it., but the truck is absolutely capable of it (and more). As far as it being a "small" truck... its all relative. Yes, it may be small than an f-150 or a super duty, but its massive compared to the previous generation. The current Ranger...
I LOVE a black car, always pretty. But it was definitely my last choice, because I HATE owning a black car ?. But unfortunately beggars can't be choosers.
In other news......
This arduous process is finally over. As of last night I finally was able to replace my 5G with a (new to me) one. I ended up with a 2021 Shadow Black Lariat Tremor. I'll be sure to post some pics for you all when I get out of work.
As soon as I got home the charge pipes...
I did consider it. But the f150 I'd want is going to be significantly more expensive than a Ranger, and besides, my last 5 trucks were all full size. The reason I got my dearly departed ranger was to downsize.
Well that was sort of why I posted the question. Were there any differences between 21 and 22? I'm not aware of anything, except the hood struts , I think.
very similar to the one i posted. Theres 1 dealer near me who just got in a 2021 w/ 33k for $38500, but its in black..... I love Black, its beautiful.....for the 5 minutes its clean..... so not my favorite choice.
the 2022 i posted is blue, which i like (although i would prefer white) and only...
yeah, thats where I've been doing most of my looking. most of the Lariat Rangers within 200 miles are $41-43K. Book values are around 40 so I've gotta talk with both dealers I posted and see what kind of deal I can get.
So........ I scoured the area over the last few months. long story short.... Looks like I have to go with a pre-owned ranger.
My leading 2 choices right now are:
-2021 w/ 33K miles, 501a lariat Tremor in black (which i love to look at but hate to own) for $39k at a local dealer
or
-2022 w/...
Phil, as everyone has said, its a sad day for this forum. Your wisdom, insight, and shared memories have been invaluable to this group. I wish you the best in all your future endeavors. Safe travels and happy motoring!
I usually keep what I can. Most dealers by me couldnt care less about the add ons.
Now if only I could stop being lazy and do something with them, other than collecting parts in my garage.....
Unfortunately, not well.
Still haven't gotten paid from the insurance company yet... and the dealer that has the Tremor is insisting on $3500 over sticker.... so naturally, they can go pound salt.
My new thing is looking for a 6-12 month beater that'll carry me over till I can order a new...
No word on the Tremor yet. Its not a dealer I would normally use (its a "no haggle" dealer that also loves charging mark ups) but a friend has connections there so he working on it for me.
I was hoping for more but I suppose its pretty close.
The Raptor would be sweet but if I had my choice I...
UPDATE:
Got my total loss settlement offer today. They initially tried to offer me $38,266, but i realized they were basing that of a base model XL. Sent them back to the drawing board to re-adjust for a loaded lariat and they came back with $41,371 not including reimbursement for tax and reg...
