  2. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Just spoke with Bestop, super helpful. They have different stock for direct customers and their dealers. They don't expect dealer stock until the winter (LOL) but they have limited stock right now for sale directly to customers. I placed an order over the phone for a dealer stock unit which...
  3. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Appreciate the intel, waiting for a call back from Bestop now. It's wild how bad customer service has gotten with these companies.
  4. What did you do to your Ranger today?

WTF... Did you order direct from Bestop? I am going to call them now if so..
  5. What did you do to your Ranger today?

When did yours show up? I have had one on order since November...
  6. Poll - Test Results for Fuel in Oil

It costs $30. For a vehicle I purchased new and plan to have a long time (hopefully 200k miles+), it is very cheap insurance to have the data regarding the health of my engine. I will probably go to every other oil change now that I have a clean report but I wanted to be sure that even with...
  7. Poll - Test Results for Fuel in Oil

Big improvement for this OCI. Likely due to warmer weather. Down 3% on fuel.
  8. Canada RSI SmartCap EVOa for sale (Canada)

    PM'd about availability.
  9. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

Parked next to some trees in Wharton State Forest, NJ. Taken ~1 hour after testing out the new Factor55 Soft Shackle and Hitch Shackle Mount to pull out a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder who was stuck in some mud uphill.
  10. Pennsylvania Sold: WTB: Bestop TrekStep SKU: 7531715

Looking for Bestop TrekStep for 19-22 Ford Ranger SKU: 7531715 Willing to pay top dollar (sick of waiting for the one I have on order). Let me know if you have one you are willing to sell. Thanks
  11. Suspension retorque

Update to my situation (similar to OP): Nut, bolt and bushing replaced in rear leaf spring @ dealer. Dealer checked every suspension bolt via factory torque spec and everything else was correctly tightened. Spoke with tech and none of the bolts/nuts moved.
  12. Suspension retorque

I agree, was very concerned. And honestly; I only happened to notice it while airing back up my tires after spending the day on the beach in Hatteras, NC. I doubt I would have noticed it until the bolt came out which could have been catastrophic. At this point, I think the truck had maybe...
  13. Suspension retorque

This is what it should look like (photos from passenger side):
  14. Suspension retorque

As someone who had this happen on my Tremor with just a few thousand miles on it, the fact that bolts were loose does not surprise me one bit. Note that this is my driver side leaf spring bolt. The nut completely fell off. I had to tap the bolt back in and drive about 50 miles back to...
  15. Poll - Test Results for Fuel in Oil

Second Oil Change (Amsoil Signature 5W-30): Shows viscosity diluted down to a 0W-20 but not showing any increased wear at all after 6K miles.
  16. Poll - Test Results for Fuel in Oil

First Oil Change. Thanks for starting this thread!
  17. Fuel in oil

That's good info. It looks like the OEM spec for Focus RS is 5W-50 while Explorer, Mustang, etc. are 5W-30 like the ranger. If my next sample shows anything above 2% I may go up to a 5W-40 to account for the dilution and allow me to run the true 8-10K mile interval. I am finding the same...
  18. Fuel in oil

My first oil sample analysis on my 21 Tremor had nearly identical results to yours (see attached). My fuel percentage was ~1% higher with a flashpoint of 310F. I just sent off another oil sample to the lab after another 6.3K miles (8,910 Miles on Vehicle). The second sample is Amsoil...
  19. New Members Introduce Yourself!

Thanks! Absolutely love the Fiesta. But after blowing up the transmission in April (It makes 375WHP/350WTQ on E85) I realize it is not really a daily anymore. The Tremor is going to stay stock mechanically.
  20. New Members Introduce Yourself!

Howdy - long time lurker, first time poster. Finally found an in-stock Temor Lariat in my top color choice on Saturday 10/9. After walking away from a bunch of used 19/20 Ranger Lariats over the last 8 months I realized what I really wanted was a Tremor so I wouldn't have to modify the...
