I waited a year in hopes a good after market design for our engine covers would have dropped but I guess I am stuck paying 300$ for a piece of foam. Hopefully few saved spark plugs and she'll pay herself off lol
Definitely made me smile, I am running almost the same set up as you but I am running mishimoto CAI and charger pipes paired with MBRP catback. Look forward to seeing the progress on your truck, cheers:)
FYI, the NEW law states ford to make all lights stay on while your DLR's are on.... aka( license plates, marker lights, tail lights and your fronts) I've already burnt out a bulb in the license plate as it runs on the brightest days. My new tremor was delivered in June while my 2019 ranger has...
This is true, thread is a tad old but my issue is not a issue. If you live in Canada and your ranger was built after December of 2021, you will be paying more in bulbs lol. So far only my license plate lights have gone out, upgraded them hopefully will last a year as they're on all the time now...
Working in the emergency field in Toronto, at night i'd say 20% of people don't have their lights on. It's actually unbelievable- for this now my truck stays lit up like a Xmas tree 24/7 ?
No doubt that's why I rather do everything in my power to try to figure it out myself. Really hoping it's a easy fix. I got some ideas from ya guys on what to do when I can get back home and we'll go from there.
Thanks for the post but I have tried in auto and same thing happens. Ford went with the route to makes their new cars with running fronts and automatic switch for nights. As mine should be. My brand new f150 should be in comparison... it is a 2022 and doesn't light up like a Xmas tree during the...
The side marker lights plug into the OEM sockets, this issue was happening prior. But didn't have issues, I may swap them out tonight to see what happens.
They do, the DLR operate just fine. They're not what i am having issues with. My whole truck should not be lit up during the day with the lights off. Only lights that should be on are the DLR's.
i tried disconnecting the battery but did not work, i saw on another forum that people were saying to keep it disconnected for a lengthy amount of time before putting it back on. May need to revisit this step.
Hey guys,
i am having issues with my new truck, the other day my buddy asked me why are your lights on your truck when you were pulling in? I had them off as it was noon and all that should of been on was the front DRL. I than put my truck into park and none of the lights were on, as soon as i...
that's a good point, i will be doing the same when i go in! Please let us know what ford says, i am interested to say the least haha. Thanks for your time man

Is there any way to avoid this when getting a truck under coated? i plan on doing mine in the next 2 months and now kinda worried but i dont have a choice as the winters here are harsh.
