Thanks for the reply. It's been plugged into the front USB port when I've tried to use Carplay. It works sort of....it just doesn't seem to recognize that I have more than 5 albums stored on my phone. Bluetooth displays all albums/artists, just won't let me pick new albums while I'm driving.

A lot of informative replies...thanks. I read up a little on the BMS and unplugging it does appear to affect other things, ie...heated seats, rear window defroster, etc... So I plugged mine back in and will just use the provided switch to disable it when needed. Wasn't that big of a deal for me...
