  1. Really????

Thanks Loren! I admit it is everyone else's problem and I was coerced into spending too much money on the darn red, professionally powder coated no less, tow hooks. Did I get past the 1st step ok??? :like:
  2. Really????

Hey Banana Breth, stop sounding like my wife
  3. Really????

You are a very intelligent and logical thinker! I knew I was not as crazy as my wife tells me I am...LOL!!!
  4. Really????

OK, in all my adult years, after making some teenage and young adult bad decisions, I thought I was pretty logical with my spending habits. Well since joining this darn forum, I have bought all sorts of things for this new Ranger that I have not bought for other trucks! Soooo, I think I have...
  5. XL and XLT owners

That is for the adaptive cruise control. I had just tapped the brake to disable or stop the cruise control without actually turning it completely off on the steering wheel control.

  7. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Thanks Brian! The "E" was the toughest for me to make straight. Glad your daughter helped you install yours!!!
  8. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I installed the TVD dash decals. What a challenge for a person like me with big hands! Have to wait until the letters dry and properly adhere to the dash. I have an extra set that they provide in case they don't last or I need to redo them. Installing these will test your patience!!!
  9. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I installed an AutoStop Eliminator this morning. Now all I have is an empty bag that it came in!!!
  10. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Did some underside checking and cleaning today.
  11. Why Is The Mileage So Bad On The Tremor?

I would not of believed this in a Tremor with just 550 miles, but I set a new record today for gas mileage. Before I filled up and headed back into my town, I had used about 1/3 of a tank of gas and I was driving like most people in a hurry, plus into a strong head wind. I showed 23 MPG...
  12. Nice Ride Today!!!

Hi Clay, I have to admit, when I retired from my job in Northern Indiana we moved to Tennessee. However, we were always taught in Indiana that the pedestrian always has the right a way. I don't care if you are walking down the middle of a busy road, a vehicle MUST stop and give the right a...
  13. Nice Ride Today!!!

Thanks Mark. I liked the red when I saw it and bought it!
  14. Nice Ride Today!!!

We had a lot purchased in Crossville at Lake Tansi and were going to build a home there. Plans changed though and we ended up in Smithville. The thing I really liked about Crossville is on the plateau it is always a bit cooler than the surrounding areas! In the summer, that is a plus!!!
  15. Nice Ride Today!!!

Glad you had a chance to ride today, Mark. Looks like the Ranger is going to get driven tomorrow, which is a good thing, except in the rain!
  16. Nice Ride Today!!!

No, however that would be a great ride as well. This was where we pulled off of US70 between Sparta & Crossville to take a break at a scenic lookout location. One of my friends has a new Fatboy. Looks great but not the most comfy seat on it. I asked him how his fanny felt....he said fine because...
  17. Nice Ride Today!!!

I let the new Ranger rest this morning and went for a ride on my FLHX (Street Glide). Put about 100+ enjoyable miles on it with my 2 riding friends joining me! Ended up at a Firehouse Subs restaurant for a great tasting sandwich! Now to put the recliner in 10 gear and check out the inside of my...
  18. Had both a Gladiator Rubicon and now a Ranger Tremor. My impressions.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one sharp SUV. Your Wrangler gets good gas mileage for sure too! And agreed about Ford Bronco launch. Seems they should of anticipated the demand a bit better. Show us some pics of the new Grand Cherokee when you get it. Like I have said before, FCA's quality is...
  19. Had both a Gladiator Rubicon and now a Ranger Tremor. My impressions.

I know about the 392 option and I couldn't afford the cost nor the gas to run it!!! I bet it would be a hoot to drive though! Are you able to borrow it now & then?
