Love that color. If I had the room for a full size I probably would have grabbed an F150 over my Ranger. The two years I had my Silverado were a pain due to parking spaces and apartment life.
Congrats on the new wheels and a job well negotiated.
I am all to familiar with the state of affairs. I'm in charge of ordering and distributing parts for a forklift company. It is getting really old explaining to techs and salesmen why stuff is not here. I have a list of backorders for workorders that is multiple pages. We are buying up every...
10/16 update. Talked with the dealer on Thursday. No update on an ETA for the part. Ford is showing no release date for it. He said he was going to call on Monday to see if he can push the parts depot for a more solid answer. Diff is still leaking and I have put another 1200 miles on it since...

About a month and 1200 miles for me. That is when I noticed the pinion seal leaking on my front diff. Part is backordered and still leaking.
Don't get me wrong, I still love my Ranger, it just ended that honeymoon period pretty fast. Now my driver's window is making a bad nose when lowering.
And a more roomy interior than the Ranger due to the unibody construction. It is looking like a pretty solid truck for someone who wants what is basically a CUV with outside storage. Plenty enough to tow your small pop-up camping trailer, your jetski, or a small aluminum boat. 1500lbs of payload...
