If the pads are uneven and/or the rotors are warped you will be either swapping them out or cutting the rotors anyway. I offer up this suggestion as a possible fix that will help you avoid being bent over by the dealer. Even if it is covered under warranty I still would prefer that nobody puts...
Depending on the type of driving you are doing it is possible that all your dealing with is pad deposits. As mentioned I would run a dial indicator on the rotors and if the runout is within spec, Id be looking to burn off pad deposits. To do this you will want to find a safe stretch of road...
People actually tan their buttholes? Sounds to be in direct contrast to the folks out there that bleach their turd choppers. Can you imagine the vanity it takes to want to do either???
Hangin with the Subaru crowd could mean that he lives in Vermont. Every other vehicle on the road up here is a Subaru. People look at you funny up here if you drive anything else!!!
To the OP... Good lookin rig and welcome to the forum. I just joined myself a couple of weeks ago and have been...
Ive heard the same thing. I would only do it if I could figure a workaround to all the wind and road noise. I purchased the technology package more for the upgraded sound system. Im not going to negate the premium sound with a bunch of added road noise. If you find a solution that works...
Im in the planning stages of building a platform as described to accommodate my dogs. Even considering gutting the rear seats in my super crew entirely to make even more room for an even bigger platform. Its just the wife and the dogs, so there is no real need for the back seats anyway. My...
After 2 weeks of ownership the only thing ive done is to put a moving blanket across the rear seats to accommodate the dogs, and thrown a 2x10 near the rear of the bed to contain my fuel jugs for fueling up the tractor.
Traded my 2012 F150 Lariat with 3.5 Ecoboost for a 2021 Lariat Ranger and after a little over a week of Ranger ownership I can honestly say that I dont feel like Ive settled for less truck. My bigger towing need of the F150 is not an issue now, so ive found the Ranger to check all the boxes...
On occasion I would throw my softail into the back of my F150. The rear wheel would be well onto the tailgate. I would throw a 4 x 8 piece of thick plywood down on the bed before loading, to better distribute the weight.
Its the end of mud season here in Vermont and I live right off of 2 miles of dirt road. As soon as Im able to clean things up my intention is to take a bunch of pics. Thanks for the welcome!!!
I just took home my carbonized grey Lariat screw 3 days ago. In daylight it looks pretty close in color to the stock photo on top. My guess is that the 2 photos below were taken in an environment with fluorescent lighting. Since getting mine and seeing it in various outdoor lighting...
Just because Fords engineers didn't add a catch can, or anything else for that matter, doesn't mean that the truck would not benefit from it. Engineers need to work within a budget when developing any new vehicle. Im certain that the company bean counters have as much a say about what's...
Well I suppose I would have eventually gotten around to pressing them all. I only took delivery of the truck on Saturday evening. I didn't get to spend much time with the resident tech guy at the dealership.
Dont I feel like an ass. This was the problem. I was pressing the wrong buttons. Thank you all who responded. Especially rparge for being able to see my dickheadedness!!!
Ive tried all 4 inputs. As far as how I have recorded it ... it wasn't me. Someone gifted me this drive a dozen years ago because I had commented on how much I liked the content.
I have towed big over the years with many different rigs in various configurations, and the best thing I can offer as far as advise, is to NEVER believe the salesman thats trying to either sell you a trailer or tow rig.
The names Tom and I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. Just last night picked up the Ranger Id been shopping around for over the last month or so. Its a 2021 Lariat Sport with 501A package, running boards, and tow package. Downsized from a F150 Egoboost Screw that was getting a...
