Picked up truck last night after " Ford approved tbc" installed. Took them about 3 hrs tech said and pretty straight forward and clean install.
300 for part, 360 labor, - 210 for Ford points. 450 total.
Feel better it's done, although could have done the non approved tbc for a lot less, at...
Just took truck in to dealer and different service advisor quoted 1hr. Asked him if he had ever had one installed there before and said " yes, just a matter of hooking up the 4 control wires and programming"
Had to explain to him what was involved and he said it will take more than 1hr.
Should...
Having dealer install one tomorrow. Went there right after purchase of truck and ordered part, nailed down a labor price of 2 hrs at 160 per. Advisor signed a receipt acknowledging labor time.
When I went back to setup day to install, same guy tried to weasel his way out of the price saying he...
No, it put on with a brush, but levels out pretty well, so very minimal if any brush stroke evidence. They sell a sample kit to try, or for small projects. Stuff goes a long but for those sliders it would probably take more than there small sample. Think it is a pint, maybe 1/2 pint not sure...
Look into Por 15. Extremely durable. Just follow there prepping instructions.
Have used it many times with greeat results. Alittle pricey but worth it. Summit usually has a good price.

Yes, I found those also. But when I called Lund and asked if they fit a 2020 they had no idea if they would. And I could order them if I chose and if they did not fit knowing I was trying them on a 20 not 19 I would have to pay the return shipping.
Trying to find anybody who has installed on a...
Henrymac, and it is something I am considering. When you have a wife, 2 kids, trailer tongue wt etc. When you put on 130 plus pounds of nerf step bar as opposed to maybe 60 lbs from other manufacturers, it all adds up.
Rob
Trucks here now and having a hard time deciding which nerf/steps to get.
Want ones that sit tight to doorsill.
The Schrockworks rock sliders are nice but adding them will reduce the payload of truck, will be towing a trailer, and besides probably will never be in a position that they would be a...

Trying to get same step bars as you have.
Lund industries says they have not test fit on 2020 yet. One company only has for Raptor.
Can you let me know where you purchased. Is your truck a 19 or 20.
Nothing seems to have changed between those yrs.
Thanks Rob
Just when I am ready to get one, can t seem to find threads about where to purchase.
Again, mind posting where you guys that have them where you purchased. And a good or bad review.
Thanks Rob Wangan
