The dealer is telling me that I need extended sway bar end links with any lift. As it is right now, the OEM link on the drivers side had broken at the bushing. I'm trying to understand the discrepancy between the dealer and what I have read on this forum.
I bought a Ford/Fox 2.0 kit from Levittown. Had it installed by the Ford dealer where I purchased my Ranger. Unbeknownst to me, they set the height at 3 inches which I just found out yesterday. I figured they would install it as it was out of of the box set at 2 inches. All is well for a while...
Wish I could confirm that. Not sure. I have noticed since that there is a Iconic Silver Metallic option for rest of the Ford Lineup. Similar but a bit darker and metallic looking.
Leer XR topper. Just want to bump up the stance a bit with the taller tire. Like alot of folks here have said, a 265 70 tire seems like a perfect fit for stock/ a mildly stronger stance. Hankooks are fine on the highway...only a few short trips on gravel with them. Not wanting to risk a puncture...
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/biggest-tires-no-lift.2458/ There's more info about that in this thread. As far as I know, you can go slightly bigger with stock suspension and definitely a bit bigger with the Fox 2.0.
Basically as far as I know, can't go wrong with the fox 2.0 kit for leveling. If you are going to be adding more weight full time in the bed of the truck, then different leaf springs or a rear spacer might be desired to maintain the leveled look.
