I was joking. About the cage and the neighbors man purse. It was actually my man purse, DeeZee branded. But the cage makes sense. Our DA won't lock up the criminals so might be a good idea to put the cab behind bars.
A neighbor of mine had his window smashed and they reached in and grabbed his man purse. Ever since that happened I lower Kevlar and steel cage over the cab. It fits nicely in the bed and only takes 15 min and two people to put on.
interesting you say that bc just yesterday someone told me I sounded quiet through wireless CarPlay and it seemed to help when I spoke into the phone mic. Will delete Waze and try again. I like Waze functionality but ever since google bought them out I’ve kind of been looking for a reason to get...
Man, the Karens are out in full force on this thread. Somehow with jiffy lube and routinely running my cars to the low fuel light I’ve never had a major engine or fuel pump failure. Maybe I’m just extraordinarily lucky! Incidentally, I also never wear a mask and I’ve never had covid.
anyways, I...
It’s 1500 bucks. I’d just pay it and try not to make such sweeping judgements on these companies based on your limited experience.
P.S. Lots of people consider Audis unreliable.
Bought this last week:
Wireless CarPlay Adapter 2022 for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4K1FNTC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Chose this one because it seemed to be plug and play, and it essentially was. Deleted truck from Bluetooth, plugged it in, paired it and it works flawlessly. Takes about 15...
I don’t like saying it, but based on everything I’ve seen, GM has the best design. Ford tried to make its ranger look like a baby f150 and in the process, they ruined it and it just looks awkward. I’ll keep my 21. The 5G is the only midsize design that’s not trying too hard.
What a conundrum. If these people were doing something apolitical, you wouldn’t have to say, “don’t make it political.” This isn’t an act of vandalism, it’s a political statement.
From Victor David Hansen, a fellow Californian and one who understands what this state has become:
"... Perhaps the most important, but overlooked, reason [for the perfect storm that imploded California] has been the infusion of trillions of dollars of mostly tech capital into the state...
Took the truck on a weekend camping trip with the family. First long drive - 5 hours on the highway with wife, 2 kids and a dog and we were all very comfortable. No regrets and I’d buy it again, exactly as-is.
I’ve never driven a gladiator, but just based on the geometry I don’t see how it can be nearly as good as the wrangler or any better than the ranger. In fact I bet the ranger is better off road (comparing stock to stock). Also I don’t think the front locker is doing as much as you think.
Interesting. Definitely makes sense to test drive it before you buy. When I was looking for a new truck, I was super busy with things and never had a chance to test drive a ranger. Ever. I had driven Tacomas and frontiers and I liked the frontier but hated the Tacoma. Reading this site convinced...
this is why I'm OCD about always locking infants or small animals in the car when I leave for extended periods. When I come back and the car's locked, I can coax them into unlocking the door. Don't you carry a sat phone? I always keep one in the bed in a waterproof container. I also tape a small...
has anyone else noticed that their biceps are larger after installing the tailgate damper?
I think it's the extra resistance encountered by lifting not only the tailgate but also the sturdy rod of the DeeZee mechanism.
