I was going to put this in the “what did you get for your ranger today thread” but it is just an applicable to put it here.
I went to Ford to get air filter for the ranger and my wife’s escape. Frankly I still feel that it was twice as much as it should be (cost me 80 cdn for both).
BUT...
If it needs body work like the OP described - I would say no. It’s not the dealerships fault but that isn’t your issue. The transport company has insurance and so does the dealership. while they could take a “loss” if they have to resell it - they are going to write off any lost revenue on their...
But it sounds like the OP is saying they are covering the warranty work - it’s just someone else doing it. And good on the dealership to say we can’t find it but we are going to send the work out to another shop to look again and install the carpets. That is pretty satisfactory outcome - the OP...
Plastidip has smoked colour. Duplicolour version of plastidip has a smoked colour spray too. Could always try and spray the emblem with either one and see if you like it.
but other than that - I haven’t seen smoked badges either.
Yikes! That sucks.
Good luck and hopefully Ford will not push the blame back on you. But that seems more than a mere operator issue. Even when I had a leak in my rear window on my F150 for over a year, I never got mold like that so my guess is this is something structural with the cab.
is this a...
Along with the damper others have mentioned (ignore the fools who say you don’t need one otherwise) you need a a good supply of 303.
Dave! Where’s Dave when you need him. ?.
Wolfman - thanks for the tip on this. I just got a set of TS rails myself. You saved me a lot of cursing!
??
Update: june 11.
finally has time to put the rails on and it was a pain in the arse for sure.I tried different ways and did the same as wolfman I did end up using the clamps from the...
I don’t have a Gator hard cover but have a Bakflip MX4. The one seal it came with was too short to use with the drop in liner and the seal for a bed with no liner was too thick. So I got some 3/4” rubber gasket the truck accessory shop used for installing canopies and it was the perfect fit for...
Your neighbours here north of the 49th parallel has been hankering to stop DL savings as well (well maybe not everyone) But much like your politicians, ours keep debating but nothing happens - it seems so simple. Makes you wonder how the heck the world has averted nuclear war which is way more...
We are uber nice. We politely finger someone and say “sorry eh”. ?. Actually if you add “eh” to anything it sounds less rude.
But then again this is Montreal - they have a lot to be angry about - like the Habs haven’t been real contenders for the Stanley Cup for a long time (but neither has...
Well if anyone is a Trekker - the enterprise was on a 5 year mission and it just kept getting extended - they still didn’t really have autonomous driving?
But on a serious note - not a big fan of the idea of autonomous driving but if it can be used to help me drive through bad weather where it...
Welcome Laura
The real question is - do ya got a tail gate damper or not. There are two camps here - TG damper (kind of like being the Borg from Star Trek) or no TG damper (everyone else who will get assimilated by the Borg).
It is a very good community here and everyone is helpful.
Enjoy...
Hmmmm. Sounds like a tail gate damper problem to me???
I haven’t done my shocks yet - maybe this year - was going to at least put the Bilstiens in the back to start. I personally don’t mind the ride in my non FX4 4x4 but everyone else in the family hates it. But if it means I can buy things for...
