I knew with what all was done you should be posting some bigger numbers. Any updates on needing to switch your name to 12Second Ranger? Looking forward to seeing where you get to.
We don’t get 93 here, so 94 octane e30 is the closest good fuel I can get. Highest non e we get is labeled 91, but runs more like 89.
We weren’t finished with the tune last time I went to the track. Ran a 13.6@100 then. Hopefully next time I go I can get closer to 13.4 before doing anything else.
How do you figure? More of a apples to oranges comparison.
Don’t forget I have less mods and more hp/torque. No intercooler pipes, stock paper filter in the stock air box, and stock catback exhaust. I’m going for sleeper even if someone pops the hood since most wouldn’t know to look at the...
Got the Ranger dynoed today. Mods are Tuning by OZ Tuning, aFe catless downpipe, and e30. Truck drives amazing and I know I can trust the reliability of Kens tune. Before adding the downpipe it put down 313hp/379tq. Now I’m setting right where I want to be at 337hp/420tq.
Anything over ~50% ethanol will be a waste because the power/efficiency scale is a not a straight line, it’s exponential. Up to around 50% you are gaining a lot of the cooling abilities and the extra octane. After that you are adding a lot of fuel with very little return.
With my procharged...
I have a mechanical boost gauge in mine. I’ll take pictures in the morning of how it’s plumbed in.
The highest psi I’ve seen on my data logs is 25psi. I wouldn’t see a benefit of going over that with the stock turbo as its efficiency would start to suffer.
I know how you feel. My original '07 Mustang would run 13.07 @ 107 all day long, but no matter what I did I couldnt break into the 12's. 3.31 gears was killing me, with a good tire it would bog down too much and with a street tire it would spin them. So damn frustrating.
Slooooooowwwwww. Car has 200k miles on it, tune wasn’t in it because my SCT fried again (switching to HP Tuners like what I have on my truck), only other mod is headers. This was the first time he’s even pushed the pedal to the floor. Good news, he likes it! Bad news, that means it’s going to...
Tune only, 35psi in the stock tires, and 2wd. I really think if I dropped them to about 25psi and raised my rpms at launch I could have dropped a few more tenths.
Pretty much everything here has re-opened. My son and I stayed in our vehicles the whole time except to switch when riding together. We also parked at the end of the pits so that there wouldn’t be people around. Video was taken by a friend that sent it to me while on my way home.
Decided since the local drag strip opened up I would take my son down to run his Mustang. Figured I would see how the truck is running and get some data logs for my tuner.
The first run I had my son in the truck and was just explaining how the whole process works and what to do to make a pass...
Looking forward to getting one as soon as they are ready. I know R&D can be very time consuming and ever changing, but is there a time frame for expected release date?
Thanks you for letting me know. I thought I was completely missing something. I was going to go ahead and pay for a year extended license, but not sure when my forscan forum account will be approved just to get to that part.
How would that work? The exhaust manifold (turbo manifold?) is part of the head on these engines. It can not be replaced without replacing the head as well.

Just purchased this 2019 XLT in HP Red
This will mainly be a daily driver and to get parts for other projects.
Still planning a few mods for it though. Having it tuned by OZ Tuning, the best tuner there is. Have tried many different tuning companies in the past and Oz...
