oh damn haha I guess that makes it harder. Try folding the seat back forward, then try bringing arm rest down, and then fold seat back up. It may not help either but with our subwoofer box installed behind the seat we struggle with that back seat folding and the latch is incorporated to that...

The arm rest likes to get stuck randomly. What I found to work is when pulling on the pull tab, it has like a latch system that has to catch just right. So if I pull mine and move at the same time it usually folds back up just fine. Its annoying for sure though. I just keep mine up
