I have an 18.5 ft that's 8' wide and it seems to work fine. I wonder if it has to do with the spacing between the truck and trailer box? Mine has a fairly long tongue and the E2 hitch puts the ball about a foot back from the bumper.

My focus is on the functionality of the truck now. I didn't buy this truck as an investment, I bought it to tow my trailer. I couldn't care less if it adds or decreases value someday down the road when I have worn it out and have to replace it.

18ish gal tank taking 16 gal to fill. 11.5 mpg. 2 ish gal at 11.5 is not much past the 20 mile to empty calc. I wouldn't call this a LOT of spare fuel.

I average about 10 mpg as well. I don't think it is the weight so much (5500 lbs) as the wind resistance with 64 sq ft. of frontal area.

Hey Tyler, I love this truck. Have about 9,000 miles on it with probably 6,000 of those pulling a 5,500 lb trailer. I have had zero problems with it. No gas in the oil even though I work the engine pretty hard when towing.
