I have those same tires in 265/65/17 on my 2019 ranger. Hiway doing 70, i avg 24.6. I do have the livernois tuned installed though.
If i keep it at 65, its around 26.4. At 55 it is 28.
Ok...gotcha.
The issue is tire manufacturer cannot provide PSI recommendations for every vehicle or application.
Start with the tire recommended PSI.
Chalk to tweek for your vehicle.
This will be good for most of your miles. Agreed not all.
Of course if you tow, haul, etc. This changes...
Do you really think street tires deform enough to matter?
These are not top fuel tires...they dont deform that much.
Chalk is the best method we have to optimize psi. 100% better than guessing, or waiting to long to see uneven wear.
I am a motor head.
I like most cars and trucks. A fan of muscle cars, trucks, etc. Not stuck on any one brand.
Had a 67 chevelle that i loved. Love GTO's, though havent owned one yet.
Had a 69 Torino and a Buick GS. Also had a 68 Barracuda. Owned a 72 mustang.
Loved them all.
Love...
Have some time now with the Coopers.
If they perform on the snow, they will overtake the Falkans as my favorite tire.
Spent time on some trails in the WV mountins. Cant call them roads...atv trails at best. The Coopers performed flawless. Only needed to engage 4wd once on a steep, very...
Well, then stop making assumptions on where i live and how the truck is used in your response.
My trucks are used hard. No issues with brakes.
So no links yet? Specs on inferior brakes? Comparisons against GM, RAM, and Tundra trucks? Any real data to back up your claims?
Or just...
1/3? Mmm kay.
So 1 assumption Is you know where i live or work.
2nd is you know how the truck was used.
3rd is rotors are worn
4th is no shop would replace pads
5th is assuming everyone has same experience with brakes as you do
6th is assuming youre opinion is fact.
Lots of assumptions here. Only the western part of ohio is flat. Most is approaching foothills/mtn in PA and west virgina. South of canton, it is not flat.
Not to mention half of those 75k miles were logged in WV. Towing as well. As well as hauling beds full of firewood.
Plus brakes...
Um, my last vehicle was a 2014 F150.
It had 75000 miles on it when i traded it in. Still on OEM brakes. As with everything else for that matter except for fluids and tires.
I think you need to provide some proof of said cheep parts.
Not my experience at all.
My 2019 ramger has 36k on it...
