Interesting. I have an extended warranty with the dealership, well through FORD, i wish i didnt buy it but at the time i was reading some horror stories on some rangers and thought hey, i might get a lemon. They did have to change the rear brakes on the red vixen at 7,000mi because piston was...
Hey all!
I was searching the threads for this but could not really find anything in relation to this particular question. As this is may be an odd question
So we all know about our Rangers and their LUGGING issues, especially in 9th/10th gear.
I have an Eibach Coilover suspension package, so...
This is an awesome setup! Did you install and wire the gauges yourself? do you have any photos or possibly a resource you got the information on how to install it by chance? How muhc was the gauge cluster if you dont mind me asking? I want to something very similar. Looks great! i want to...
I never towed with stock shocks - I have a full Eibach suspension but i moved a buddy of mine with a fully loaded enclosed Uhaul trailer, it drove great, felt fully in control of the trailer etc. I would buy a good set of rear shocks. The FX4 stock shocks are flimsy haha and changing out the...
I have not gotten the chance to do this, but now im on 33s im not sure if i could take a taco from the dig haha i have not gotten a tune yet either. So i would probably get beaten by a stock taco or maybe stay right beside it. At least im not running E rated but still quite heavier than stock...
Oh glad you mentioned that. So there is no increase in flow with mountune? with Mishi, the charge pipes are a little larger for greater flow in comparison to mountune?
CVF is still in the works with their intercooler?
also sideline question, hopefully some may know the likelihood of this...
Yeah im most definitely on the fence for either IC, mountune or Mishi. Hard to choose. Will have to search the this forum and other various sources a little more to see which one id like the most. Mountune's kit appears to be a little cheaper $ as well.
If it is your only truck, i would always go 4x4. Even if you dont "need it" now. Its better to be safe than sorry. Having a 4x4 is great peace of mind even if you dont think you will ever use it. Also, you can be that bad ass buddy that gets your friends 4x2 out of the mud or other sticky...
Aw that sucks man, I am sorry to see that. I was, and im sure other fellas on this forum were waiting for the results. You were not alone! haha at least you know what you need to do next
@Bludrok or any other individual that has wired a winch to their ranger
I wanted to heed some advice from fellow DIYers
i found multiple threads about winches, but not necessarily how they wired them
I am wondering on the best method to route the wiring to the battery(+) and chassis (-).
I...
Thank you so damn much for this write up. @seanellaz It really helped me figure out what i needed to do. I have a NON fx4, just an XLT 4x4 with tow hooks and bottom bash plate but a non fx4 package bash plate. So i ended up having to do the exact same thing as you did to KEEP my bash plate...
Shame on me, i literally was searching the forums and youtube and i went right passed this video. Thank you, it is much appreciated! Looks like i have the idea just need to put more backbone into it, i thought it was a little more fragile than it is i guess.
Hey there everyone, in the middle of painting my front grill and emblem matte black, but having trouble with the rear emblem. i know you use a flat head screw driver to pop it off, but i insert the screwdriver at the bottom center hole to pop it out, but i feel like i am going to break it...
When i bought my truck a few months back the dealership rep that was going over the new truck with me and all its features told me that there is NO limitation on distance with the fordpass locking/starting function. She said that you could do it anywhere via cellular device world wide. I will...
