Went to check out some more trails this past weekend. The higher trails are almost thawed out - soon everything will be open.

One of the nearby trails finally opened up, so I had to go check it out.

I love mine. I used to have a ‘19 fx4 sport, but traded it for something bigger. A couple of years go by and I kept thinking of my old Ranger and how much fun it was. Picked up a nice cpo ‘21 Lariat to get a couple of the luxuries I wish I had in my ‘19.

Finally got around to installing my FitzStick transmission dipstick today. High quality and easy to install ? After that, I did my first transmission drain and fill - replaced 6qts - piece of cake.

Nice truck - I’ve never seen a chase bar/rack like that. I’ve had some turbo Subarus in the past - one of my favorite things about the Ranger is that its quickness reminds me of my old wrx, but it’s also a truck. Best of both worlds ? Welcome to the forum - lots of good info on here.

When my readylift intrusion bars were installed, they never removed the bumper. The old ones were cut out, and then the readylift bars have a bit of an angled interior corner so they'll slide in. I found that the readylifts seem very beefy compared to the old bars.
