When I have used Trail Control (Low Speed Offroad CC) it uses the ABS, and it does have a noticeable grinding sound. Scared me first time I heard it, but found out it is normal.

Yes, the trim on the wheel wells are hard to remove. I made a tool out of hard plastic similar to a trim tool and drilled a beveled hole in to use on backside to depress the clip. By accident I discovered the middle ones 3 or 4 not sure on exact number, those slide off without removing clips...

Strange noises are common for this truck. Anytime I come near it even without the keyfob it chirps and makes weird noises all the time.
