No, you would want the case hot and the cap cold, if you could chill the cap it would contract, but the space is so tight, getting nitrogen up there ain't happening, tapping it with a hammer can really help, also shocking it loose by hitting the wrench with a hammer is better than just yanking...
That sounds about right, you really gotta check it hot, I tried to verify the cold full number, but it seemed to vary a little bit, I figured it was what position the pump and converter were in when shut off, sometimes it drained back in a few hours, sometimes overnight.
