I'm working on it, mostly, kind of, well, at least some.
I used to post what my projected time was, like; next week or next month I'll be past whatever the delay was, parts hold usually.
But it never fails to get delayed by some of the most unexpected things, some of them are out of my hands...
Is it in straight?
It's hard to tell in the pics, but it looks a little crooked, pull it back out and make sure there is no burr or edge inside of the bore hanging it up.
If you thread the nut on and there is a gap on one side to the washer (which looks to be the bottom side in the pic) then...
Those type suspensions systems ride very well, fully adjustable, really nice, but expensive and a lot of work.
I just de-arched a set of the global springs 1.5" (same height as Tremor without the 2nd overload) and then cut the first two bulbs off the stock bump stops. It sits level now, I did...
Interesting, whatever is used might have to be stout, would it have to be something strong enough to secure the fan?
What is the failure mode?
Fan locks up and rips everything out?
Or is it simpler than that, the hose fails and things start to gently rotate?
Hey, you guys are great!
I'm impressed that someone read it all, it's a shame, I had to take down a lot of the cool pics showing the fixtures and various things involved with my forming process, but that is how it goes, it's because of someone trying to use parts of my design, that's why I did a...
Most people would not get it, they are just hunting for the big numbers!
In 2007, we developed a NA 3.5L V8 for IMSA's LMP2 class, a torqueless engine, the regular young guys working on the calibration said "okay final cal" it was terrible, the drivers hated it. One of the senior guys spent a...
It's called a torque hole (or at least that's what we called at Honda) to give up the peak torque number to fill in the "hole" makes for a much better torque band that translates into a much better driving engine, typically the hole was in a part of the band that the drivers spend a lot of time...
Guess I goofed up the post response,
The fitting has a large chamfer for the dipstick seal, I will set the O ring squish pretty light as there is will be no pressure on it.
This a sealing suggestion instead of O rings correct? That would work, but Msfitoy already did the hard part of designing the perfect fitting funnel for the MBS dipstick.
I just have to see what it will take to get them made in a large quantity!! That would be China unfortunately, the US...
I have seen how dash cameras can really save the day when a situation review is needed, I put up a temporary one when I travel long distance.
I almost bought a permanent one recently, but I wondered about the factory camera as well, the feed should be able to be tapped into and fed into the...
I'm working on a large batch now, my goal is to get about 100 of them done, at 60 now, I will attach a link here, as well as message those who posted here, I will try to catch all the voters as well, sounds like a lot, but that's my goal?
