One would think they (as well as some other things) would be standard on ALL trim levels. But with the number of vehicles sold for fleet at an XL trim level I guess every deletion is more money in Ford's pocket.
You can always modify, and if you don't like the result, know that you have a backup plan.
Personally, I have gotten pretty good with a multipurpose tool as well, and perhaps an option if you need straighter lines.
I used to build engines, and I think the initial road miles are better for the long-term performance of the engine. Just an old gear-head/wrench-turner's opinion though.

Gotta love the electronic communication. Obviously there is no validation from the dealer that the truck arrived to trigger the email from Ford.
I never even received that email about final preparation at my dealer, just a call from my dealer that it had arrived.
