They all have the same engine regardless of trim level. The 2.3 ecobeast runs more efficiently with higher octane fuel. Driving style determines mileage.
Anytime you use a line or chain for a pull, thereâs a lot of âstored energyâ in it. Should a link snap, or a line part, youâll be in the line of fire.
That said, yes- in a pinch, theyâll help.
Actually, I had them in 235/80-17 load range E. They were phenomenal in the snow. The problem was the ride quality. It rode like a jackhammer. I replaced them with 6ply Falken 275/70-17. Love them. Great ride, quiet, smooth. They even feel good when towing.
On my â20,
Drive gives gears 1,3,5-10.
Tow mode enables all gears, and changes the shift points to a higher RPM.

They didnât turn a wrench.
I got my keys back when I paid the bill.
I have a â20 Ranger, wife has a â17 Edge Sport. These will be the last Fords we buy.
They all have their attributes. Pick one and buy it. Chances are youâll love whatever you get.
For me, the Ranger with the Ford performance tune and Fox 2.0 was exactly what I wanted. 10 speed transmission, decent payload, good power and visibility...works for me!
