  1. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Finally got to test the Thule Xsporter we picked up a few weeks ago. Strapped the kayaks tight to some old J-brackets and tore down 20 miles of dirt and gravel roads to the Colorado River.
  2. Attention Ranger Nation! Your Bulb size Chart Just Dropped

Thanks for compiling and posting this. Much appreciated.
  3. Switch Panel Mod

I don't mean to undermine OP's side hustle if he's still doing this, but his account appears long-since inactive. There's a seller on Etsy that sells effectively this same product with a couple of different switch styles available. See links below: Ford Ranger Toggle/rocker Switch Panel With...
  4. What did you let go to get your Ranger?

Traded in my 2017 Infiniti Q50 on the Ranger. Car was tuned to run E30, 93, and 91 octanes (via map-switching). Had lower downpipes (secondary cat delete), full catback exhaust, drop-in air filters, big heat exchanger (intercooler), aluminum skid plates. Aftermarket 19x9.5 wheels paired with...
  5. Looking to get a bed rack for my 21 XLT Tremor

See attached for Xsporter fitment: Seller previously had the rack on a Colorado and trimmed the front legs to clear the wheel wells. I measured about 3in off the front risers.
  6. Looking to get a bed rack for my 21 XLT Tremor

Tomorrow, I'm picking up a used "Thule Xsporter 422XT" from a local FB Marketplace listing. I'll come back and post some pictures once I get it mounted and installed. (fingers-crossed it fits flawlessly) While a new unit exceeds your budget, used Xsporter kits can be found for considerably less...
  7. What did you do to your Ranger today?

If you use Unraid or TrueNAS for your home server, both offer community developed docker containers to run the application. Makes it an absolute breeze to setup and maintain.
  8. How often do you use 4L?

4L, Twice - Once climbing a rocky section of a mountain pass in the night and another climbing up an embankment from a lake shore. 4H seems more than capable in just about every scenario, especially when you have the rear locker at your disposal.
  9. New to tuning. Doing Ford performance Tune tomorrow

From my experience flash tuning Infinitis/Nissans, you'll be fine, especially with a new battery. Just follow the instructions and it is hard to go wrong with most of these setups. Battery tender is likely optional and unnecessary, granted, it never hurts to have it. Also, welcome to the forum!
  10. GAS mileage on a ford ranger 2019

OP I empathize with you. My '21 has been averaging about 16mpg on the interstate. I've got a 20-mile commute, +/- 1200ft of elevation. With a 3.5in lift and 265/70r17 tires, a nasty headwind uphill, and a 75mph speed limit (I'll typically cruise about 80mph) it shreds my MPGs. From what I've...
  11. Mounting 14" King IBP's

That's a badass looking setup! Love to see all the custom work you've put into it! What's your intended use case for this truck? A more capable weekend warrior off-roader or is this related to your work somehow? Can I ask about that rear bumper and winch setup you have? Is that a custom mount...
  12. Running rear hitch lights

Was this a universal bracket you installed? Following to see how you end up wiring it in.
  13. My Mods List So Far

Sharp looking truck, Josh, welcome to the forum!
  14. Ranger Must Have Accessories

That's disappointing to hear. I don't currently own either part, just found that (dated) info with a quick google search. It appears I was too late for the train then... I was considering purchasing a FORScan adapter and the software to go with, but with sanctions in place and the questionable...
  15. Ranger Must Have Accessories

I understand the simplicity of having a physical device installed to disable the auto stop-start functionality, but at $84.99 on sale (regularly $99.99), why would one not opt for a FORScan modification instead? Assuming you have the computer hardware and know-how to do so. A FORScan compatible...
  16. New Member Intro - 2019 Ford Ranger XLT

Welcome and congrats on your new truck!
  17. Curious... Are your floor mats protecting your car in the snow?

I recently picked up some "eBay special" floor mats from a brand called "Oedro". While we don't see much snow here in the Southwest, they're doing well with all the dirt, sand, gravel, mud, and dust we've thrown at them to date. Fitment seems comparable to any Husky's or Weathertech's I've...
  18. Post your off-road pics.

    Dispersed Camping in NW Arizona
  19. 2019 Ford Ranger Intermittent starter motor not engaging

I'm going to second what RangerBill said. In my experience, this indicative of a failing starter motor. Under normal circumstances the starter should spin up to speed and immediately slam forward engaging the engine's flywheel and turning the motor over. Edit: Listen to airline tech, I play...
  20. Lake Mohave - Lake Mead National Recreation Area

I will keep those locations in mind too! To date, we've mostly gone down to Havasu, Lake Mohave, or the river down near Chloride at Pirates Cove and paddled our kayaks around the wetlands there. Lake Mead feels a bit intimidating without having a boat or jetski. Sounds like we'll need to plan...
