That's what you get for trying to gas up at a top-tier gas station that sounds like it's a low tier gas station by its name, and you would not have had that problem if you had the tailgate damper pre-installed!
Get a schematic for it. I bet you can jump it in the back of the wire connector. You can do that also instead of the start stop auto eliminator. For that I think it was the purple to the white wire with the purple stripe, I believe. Like the auto start stop eliminator, it remembers the last...
You forgot to add to all that to change the tailgate damper! When all else fails, always change the tailgate damper!
OK on a serious note. Since it had the battery in there you probably fried the motherboard in there.
I did that to my MacBook about nine years ago. Spilled a glass of tea on it. I...
Hey Steve. Looking at the third to the last picture, it looks like you’ve got the gator SRX rollup cover. Am I correct? It could be the SR one or the SR two but regardless, I’m asking because I just installed mine and it went pretty good. The problem is it came with a bag of brackets...
Did yours come with a bag of brackets specifically for the Ford Ranger? If so how in the world did you mount those back brackets?
How in the heck did the rear brackets get mounted, if at all? I believe I can mount the front brackets but the back brackets, I just don't see a spot for them.
I got...
This looks like it may be the same as the Gator SRX cover. Did it come with installation brackets like the ones I'm enclosing a picture of? If so, how in the heck did the rear brackets get mounted, if at all? I believe I can mount the front brackets but the back brackets, I just don't see a spot...
Thanks so much Dave! I trust you and will therefore continue with my installation next week. They quoted me $490 for the install and alignment and I get to pay for $260 of that with my Ford points.
Someone gave me a pair of 2 1/2" Rough Country spacers that fit my Tremor. My Ford service advisor says it should not affect the ride of the truck and so it should be fine to install them. What say ye (and anyone else)?
Edit. I did it and am glad I did it! Can't tell a difference in the ride...
Thanks so much for your response Doug. It looks like that's what I will go for. I won't be doing any heavy Offroading. Certainly not like those guys out west. And trails in Florida are smooth and sandy. I do mostly highway driving to the point that I might just put street tires on the truck...
When she asked me that question I said no, your fat makes your butt look fat. Been divorced 13 years now. And if this current one doesn't watch out, I know how to get out of this one too! Shhhhh?
"I was told doing just a spacer is not a good idea because it compresses the front struts. Is this true and does that make the ride or any other negative affects? I put Bilstein 5100 leveling struts on my 19 Ranger Sport but now I have the 21 XLT Tremor. I want to do the same thing but $700 for...
The sad part is that you will have to pay $.37 for every mile you've already driven. They should eat that for all the misery it cost you as well as downtime maybe days off of work trying to get things fixed.
Its much much deeper than that. But if we laid it all out, there'd be some mama's boy who will complain that he's offended and it'll be taken down. Just like my post that was taken down for being "racist" because I warned that if you want to date a certain ethnic woman who does a very sensual...
Do you have to enable tow mode with every start up or does it remember the last position? I suspect you have to enable it every time? If so I wonder if it can be bypassed like a start stop eliminator? But of course there's times you don't want it in tow mode so a permanent bypass would not be good.
