Well, shame on me! I think I had that mixed up with how the electric shuts off after two hours, like my radar detector plugged into the 12 V outlet. The funny thing is sometimes it shuts off sooner.
It should not need a trickle charger at all. It is doesn't go into a deep sleep but as you read my previous reply to the OP, it's probably a parasitic draw.
I had this problem when I first got my 19 XLT. Two days of not driving it the battery is dead. It's called a parasitic draw. I lost the controls on the steering wheel. Jumpstart would work and the car truck would drive every day but if I went to days without a drive it was dead. You can test the...
Thank you for your input also! Having lived in Florida since I was 12 back in 1971 allows me to see how things have changed over the decades. People used to move down here in assimilate to life the way it was here. I could say back then we were a part of the Dixie but not anymore. Well that's...
That’s what I use. Although I’m thinking of canceling them because they say that’s the worst thing for a vehicle. This new one I just got came a plate armor but talking to a detail friend of mine who happens to be a warranty guy for that company, he says all that really is is a sealer that...
Some years ago I use to wash mine right before rain, tho sometimes I got caught in it.
I wonder if you just use the foam cannon on it maybe like that one above this post and just left it alone and let the rain rinse it off what would happen? Either way, you don’t get hard water stains on the...
I got a foam cannon off of Amazon and it really great with my pressure washer. Easy to use. You gotta use foaming car wash in it. And I think you use the soap sprayer nozzle which is usually black, on the pressure washer if I remember correctly. I was just thinking the other day I might need to...
You just couldn't have done this last Thursday when I bought my new, one could you? I'm always a day late and a dollar short, especially now after buying one from the dealership!
Oh gosh you're still a pup! And of course you're a great looking couple! In the famous words of the famous DonDonBabyRaptor, thanks for coming around! Here's wishing you many many decades of happiness together. And if you decide to flee California like many others are doing, you are one...
I did that years ago and it can be done. I fixed it without help but It would be really great with a second pair of hands trying to hold the belt flat while you are brute forcing the buckle down over it or up over it.
On a sidenote, I'm very curious if that's covered under Ford safety restraint...
And I thought you were Latino with those sunglasses on with that picture you posted to begin with on this thread! I love the random 2% French, considering their history in Asia
We're heading up to Helen, Georgia and North Carolina in early November for the fall colors. My wife, being...
Back in '09 I saw Chrysler take a small town dealership away from a family because of the recession, claiming they were consolidating dealerships. In no time at all, a larger Chrysler dealership owned by a corporation that owned a number of dealerships in the Southeast, 30 minutes south of that...
That's a great post Dennis and I love that comparison to dating a hot psycho girl! Been there and done that, unfortunately!
And actually, I can understand. There are other things in life we can compare to the jeep thing that makes some of us understand.
I know I've never been one to knock...
Thanks Dave. It's always great to get another perspective on articles like this. And the information on the nine speed tranny being the same on all those different vehicles is really nice to know. So glad your wife has had a great experience with hers.
I often wonder that if the vehicles are so...
