Had a 1995 Jeep Wrangler, had the original OEM battery for 13 years. No battery tender. Nada. Nothing.
Got a little worried and decided to swap out the battery. New battery lasted 6 months.
They want a “perforation”, I think I’d give them exactly what they ask for.
Make the nastiest hole you can, go through this winter and then next summer, bam! Perforation.
So, the pump was without fuel/coolant for what, 20 seconds?
If that’s the margin of failure for the fuel pump, you’d better believe I’d want to have that covered under warranty.
What do they use for annual rust proofing? Something like a spray on ACF-50?
How about an undercoating? Would that prevent the rusting out or prolong the frame?
Neat little package and setup. Very useful.
However, that is dependent on knowing what a repeater is and the limitations of RF.
As far as mobile vehicle use, I don’t see much more gains that using a “normal” GMRS radio.
