I was talking with my folks about Old Town and they said they've been around and make decent kayaks and what not. At first I thought of Pelican brand but I saw the Old Town and it looked like the better deal. Has a waterproof compartment at the stern and slots for the paddles.
What's the exact...
Thank you! I've been wanting one for years. Saw the sale and knew it was the right time.
It's actually nice being able to celebrate my birthday for once. For a while it was just another day but now that I'm part of my partner's family they've helped bring back that feeling! ?
Possibly! This wasn't difficult for me but I feel like I'd want that bed space for wet gear after I'm done paddling and keeping the kayak on a bed rack will keep things tidy/accessible. I've seen what you're talking about, though! I believe in MA it's 4ft for overhanging... not sure if that...
I used to work at a mail processing plant and some of the packages I've seen be eaten up by the machines. Used to perform mail search by the bull wheel cause packages would get caught between the chain and giant cog wheel!
Was said chair a Herman Miller by any chance? ?
After posting that picture I just realized y'all are probably checking for a tailgate dampener first and not paying attention to the brightly colored kayak!
Local business had a kayak sale going on. Finally decided on an Old Town Vapor 10XT. It was difficult deciding between a 10' and 12' but I don't plan on paddling all the time. Birthday gift to myself.
I might need to look into a bed rack flush to the cab if I plan on using it often...?
From start up to leaving the drive way I sometimes notice a bit of a gentle buck when picking up speed from 15-30mph. Is this the bucking y'all are talking about or an early sign? Doesn't happen often but once in a while when I'm pulling out from the drive way and slowly adding gas.
I think it's also because my Ranger is a cookie cutter color/plain-Jane so I'm blending in with the rest of the white, grey/silver and black vehicles on the road. I did see a sand color Ranger with red accents on the front grill and tow hooks a while back. I do like the sportiness of the Ranger...
I did call the shop to notify them about the issue reoccurring so I might just do that and have them remove it since they installed it. Noticed that as well but I made the purchase before reading the forums since I thought hey, it's on the ford accessories page it should be good. Goodness was I...
I haven't delved into circuitry so please bare with me. So my understanding is the opto isolator that has a built in diode transfers a signal using light to isolated circuits, correct? And with the opto isolator drawing mA's would it be enough to trigger the fast blinking code on the turn signal...
Received my first wave/peace sign the other day from another Ranger when driving along a congested road. Felt like a child and couldn't stop smiling. My partner just shook their head.
I'm always pointing out Rangers in the area. A little something called: "Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon".
But...
