I think they are all the same from 19-21, I want a cat to play around with, I want to take off all the heat shields and see how well I can cobble them onto a aftermarket cat, that way I stand a better chance of passing a visual inspection at the smog station.
Thanks!
I ran out of the Ginsu knives, and the Flex seal, I am down to tailgate Damper lube in the easy one drop dispenser, and if you order now I will include two damper lubes
Good to hear about the link?
Hey Everyone,
I'm Mike, from Mike's Build Shop,
I figured I would put up a new topic and formally introduce my product, it's a Extended Automatic transmission Dipstick, for the 2019-2023 2.3T Ford Ranger with 10R80 transmission. Not like anyone is tired of the 160+ page previous topic that...
The O rings in the adapter are fine, I test fit them, they should seal well.
I think their pipe is fine, it's more like my truck is a little off.
Everything else looks really good.
I am just going to fix it, I assume it is something with my truck.
It’s okay, cutting and welding something is no big deal for me.
I have plumbed IC’s on several race cars, this is a easy one, cut it, mock it up, mark it, tack it, check it, weld it, paint it, it will fit perfectly.
Good info, I'm going to see what the easiest way is to get it to fit, probably cut the mounting bracket off and reposition the pipe back a little bit.
It could be a stack up of tolerances, if the motor mounts are a little forward and the IC is a little back, that's all it would take, I really...
It comes with one, the pipe needs to be cut shorter and welded, or cut and a new barb formed in the end of the tube, it should have a gap between the IC and the pipe for engine movement.
Who
I got the hot/cold pipe kit, did a mock up with just the pipe and it does not really fit
So, I was hoping to get some pics of other installs, hopefully to see if they are all this close or if I got the goofy pipe, better yet, maybe a measurement from the weld in the pipe seam to the coupler...
As for right now, they really don't exist except in concept and a couple of prototypes, if the large quantity price (probably 300 of them) is not reasonable enough, I will not be going forward with the funnel.
As I said "I think it's going to be doable", that is a far cry from "funnels in...
Ah yes, the funnels, I am actually going through quotes now, I think it's going to be doable.
I cant make them, then ask additional money for one, at $179 they should come with the dipstick
So my goal is to include them and have some extra as well.
CompDude, sending message
Hey Don, I just opened up the website to the public.
mikesbuildshop.com
I sure hope I have covered everyone here on the lists who may have wanted one.
I originally thought I would make a big deal of it, put up a new topic here and over on other social media sites, but I think going into it...
Any chance anyone could take a pic of the CVF hot side pipe at the IC? it has to be a stock IC.
I got the hot and cold kit, I did a initial fit up of the pipe without the couplers on it and it's a odd fit, almost like it may have been a little off when it was welded up.
I know it's buried and...
I understand it as the first thing they look at is key count, even before looking at the file.
If the key count is low, it was recently flashed.
I spent some time at So Cal dealers, I remember after I left and went to Honda, I'd go back to Ford and visit, one day the Ford rep came through and...
