I know at some point in time in the past couple months I came across the module tracking (as there's a link from Order Track)
I just don't remember what any of it means ?
My age is 31
My first Ford was a 2007 Ford Ranger (XL, reg. cab, 4x2, 3.Slow, 5AT) - also my first ever vehicle, co-purchased with my parents.
I learned to drive in a 2006 Ford F-150 (XL, reg. cab, 4x2, 4.6, 4AT)
My 2022 Ranger XLT S.Crew is currently in scheduled production phase, with start...
My F56 MINI had pedestrian saving tech on it. Go to pull out between two large trucks in a mall parking lot and someone's kid comes darting out from around the other side. Boom, stopped.
I got the XLT Ranger and it has the emergency braking assist thing on it (whatever you want to call it) but...
Wanna know what's weird?
The Ford order tracker still shows "Order Confirmed", and no window sticker - however, the "Order Track" site that I've picked up on this thread has a window sticker and "in production" status. Blend Date shows 04/13/2022.
I've got no new emails at all this week so...
I had a '98 with the 3.Slow and 5MT 4x4, I'm 5 foot 7 and even I still managed to bump the turn signal stalk. Weirdly though, that was never a problem with my 2002 that replaced the 1998.
Frying tires was very easy in the 2002 - 4.10 towing axle, and 4.0 V6. ?
I've had a manual transmission on the older generation Rangers, and it was nice. Somewhat annoying on a commute for how heavy they were to me. (Both trucks that I had were V6 models with 4WD).
These days the only stick shift I have now is an older MINI hardtop. And it's brilliant for that car...
Well, it's annoying on my Dad's 2019, it was annoying on his Escape as well, it was very annoying on my MINI and it has never really reliably worked consistently on my current F-150.
I'm happy to see it go. ✌️
I just checked this site with my information - mine still hasn't built yet (scheduled for Monday of next week) but it's interesting that the site tells you how many other orders are in the same "boat" so to speak. For me it showed "four" were in the same status.
Saber Orange S.Cab with FX4, I do not doubt based on the sheer number of modern Rangers in central New Mexico that he's parked next to a fair portion of them since he bought his in 2019. ?
This was me as well - STX vs 300A. Ultimately went for 300A as is for pretty much the same reasons.
Just hoping there's not another bump to production date for me as that was last confirmed for next Monday.
I haven't heard anything new about mine for almost a month now, though since it was ordered early-mid February and VIN was only a week later, still confirmed for 04/11 build.
Getting closer!
Wonder how long it will take to be built, and then shipped to New Mexico. Dealer thinks it'll be here...
I see this on my F-150 sometimes if I haven't driven it for a few days or so. It's definitely the system monitoring, and frankly since the first cold snap of the season back in October, I've seen this message almost every time I get in the truck (it even appears on the SYNC 3 screen). That said...
I don't mind subscriptions for entertainment in my living room and on my smartphone, but the stupidest thing I've ever witnessed were subscriptions for basic car features. BMW eventually dropped (unless they reverted again) the sub fees for Apple CarPlay.
Audi/VW makes you pay for dual climate...
Lovely shade of blue.
From your profile pic I see yours isn't the FX4 - for some odd reason while reading your post I assumed FX4 - only because my Dad's FX4 is very bouncy and rough over rough pavement and terrain. Maybe then it's the suspension geometry on the 4x4s that are pretty rough...
